Melody's POV

"So how are you doing?" I asked Louis as he trudged behind me still securely holding onto the vine. I looked over my shoulder at him but he just raised an eyebrow. 

"What are you planning?" 

"What are you talking about?" I asked sweetly. 

"No, hold up. You don't just ask anyone 'how are you doing' I've known you far too long. Seriously are you going to throw me in like a volcano so I can die. Because if that's what you're planning I need to tell you I can sprint very fast and I also know kung-fu." He cautiously said but my mouth hung open. 

"You know kung-fu! I know karate! Let's battle, right now!" I yelled out at him. 

"No, I'm not having a battle here. For all I know you're definition of karate is stab the person with a knife." 

"I would never do that." I said then started to skip away. 

"Wait, come back!" Louis yelled running after me. 

"You follow old Melody! She knows the way!" I screamed back ducking through bent trees, jumping over fallen logs and still being ahead of Louis as he chased after me. 

"Now, stop!" I screamed, stopping at a halt. Louis ran and stopped just as he neared me. 

"What are you doing? I swear if you think you can throw me in the lake you are wrong. I can swim." 

"Shush! Look closer you buffoon." I whispered. Louis eyed me suspiciously, but bent near the lake and stared down at the water. I waited for his reaction, but he just stared at it curiously. 

This is good. 

"I don't see anything." He finally answered. 

"Look harder." 

"Well. There are fish." He scratched the back of his head. I knelt down beside him and pointed to the tiny fish swimming. 

"And how many?" 

"They are swimming in partners?" He answered and I nodded my head at him. 

"Louis, Harmony, Symphony and I spent time thinking and came to a conclusion. We know your feelings towards this other person, and their feelings towards you. It could be love for all we know, but you both will not accept it. For this reason I will show you what you are missing so hopefully you can go and be like these fish. Live for the rest of your life with a partner that loves you." 

Louis shook his head after staring into space for a few seconds. 

"Nope, I don't like this idea, no, that's not happening. I don't love her anymore. I can do just fine without her." Yeah, yeah, yeah, keep telling yourself that buddy. But I will show you, else my name is not Melody the Moose! 

"I can show you the world." I sang beautifully. 

"No." 

"Shining, shimmering, splendid." 

"Are those sparkles?" He eyed the glittery things I threw at him. 

"Tell me, Louis, now when did you last let your heart decide?" 

"No, I said stop it! Leave me alone this is a bad idea. And by the way your singing sucks." 

"I can open your eyes. Take you wonder by wonder." I jumped on his back and put my hands on his eyes. Then after him yelling at me some more I jumped off him and smirked.
