When I wake up, Im sitting on the couch with my boyfriend's arms around me. I guess I wake him up with my stirring because his eyes open like 2 minutes after mine do. " Hey. " He says. " Sleep well?" I ask. " Yeah. You?" He says. No. I didn't. I was planning how I was gonna kill the beasts that almost killed my man. " Yea." I lie. If only I could tell him. I turn on the TV only to see more bad news. " 3 suicide bombers ran into hospitals this morning and blew up every one. Flowers, dale medical, and Dr. Brandt's children's hospital are all ashes. Most people died but a few people lived. -" The news lady says. Wonderful. If anyone else gets hurt, they have no one to help them. Wonderful.
Almost a month goes by. No one has done anything about the hospital thing. All the doctors in Alabama have been killed off, one by one, in the past month. " Honey, I'm going for a jog." says Jasper. He is staying here. His car is still being repaired. I truthfully like him being here. Having the man of my dreams staying at my house is well dreamy. " Mind if I come with you?" I ask. " Be my guest. " He says. We jog for while and Jasper jets behind. I turn around to find him and he is gone. I run back to find him and somewhere along the way, I find a blood trail. I rip my ear buds out and scream his name. I follow the trail if knocked over bushes and blood and find him laying unconscious covered in blood. He has bite marks all over his arms and legs. " JASPER! " I gasp. " Jasper! Please say something! Dont die on me! Please! Don't die! No!" I yell. Tears stream down my face as I press my head against his chest, listening for a heartbeat. I cant hear anything over my sobbing. Concentrate Deanna, concentrate. I press my head against his chest. I finally hear his heart . " Deanna? " He says. " Jasper? Jasper! You are awake! Please don't pass out again." I say. " Deanna, you have to get out of here. It will get you too. " He says. " Jasper, you are gonna be OK. I'm gonna kill the monster that did this to you . I'm gonna get revenge." I say
