3:26 am; the bright red numbers of my alarm clock had read. This would be the fourth night in a row I've had insomnia. I haven't gotten more than 2 hours of sleep each night. Over-thinking and over analyzing every situation in my life are my worst habits. I've been so fed up with Eric and Barbie that I've only been coming home to sleep and if it was acceptable to sleep outside, I probably would for the sake of my saneness.

The house was extremely quiet, but then again, it's the middle of the night. The only 2 sounds I was aware of were my breathing and the howling wind against my window. I sunk into the bed a little more before sleep finally over-took me.

I woke up somewhere between 9:30 and 10 from the sound of a door slam. Pushing the silky sheets off my body, I shivered and trudged my way to the window just in time to see Eric pulling out of the driveway. Of course, in his red sports car. He got the money for that from my mom's life insurance. What a great man.

I grabbed my iPhone from my nightstand and scrolled through all the alerts and messages I missed. I got a message from my best friend, Aleecia, telling me to meet her at noon at the S.B.S.

S.B.S. is our term for snow-board-slopes. I absolutely despise snow and the cold but love snowboarding. After all these years of snowboarding and having to walk a half mile to the slopes, I should be used to carrying my board there and back.

No. Wrong.

I am literally the weakest girl on the planet and walking a half mile there and back AND still spending hours at the slope takes a lot of energy from a small girl. I'm already complaining about the walk and I haven't even left my house yet.

The weather wasn't too bitter out and I probably thanked God about every five seconds for that. There have been negative temps here that tortured our population for months so this 35 degree weather was a heat wave for the town.

I was about a quarter of the way there when I stopped on the corner of an intersection in my neighborhood. My arms were screaming at me to put my board down. I decided to take a little rest and slowly dropped my board to the ground. I really needed my own car.

I soon felt the feeling of someone watching me closely while I rested against a street light. Turning around, I met eyes with a dark brunette, green eyed guy. Quickly making eye contact, I turned around and picked up my board. I tried not to looked uncomfortable and crossed the intersection as soon as I could.

I passed about 2 or 3 blocks and could see the hill in my view now. I could feel relief flood through me. All until I felt the same feeling of being watched. Turning around once again, I saw the same guy staring at me intently. I started to get really aggravated at him.

"Seriously. Can I help you with something?" The guy studied my face for awhile more and still kept his mouth shut. "Look I'm already late to meet my friends and I would really appreciate it if-you would just-"

"You need to leave." HIs voice was deep and serious when he spoke. Not like most teenage guys though.

A confused expession immediately replaced my angry one.
"Excuse me?" A gust of wind flew by and I watched the guy shiver. Actually, looking at him now, he didn't look like he was from around here. He has an extremely tan fave and looks like a Hollister model who surfs every Sunday morning in California.

"I'm just warning you. You need to leave," his voice was now panicked. I was about to respond when I saw a feared expession come upon his face when he looked across the street. I turned around and saw nothing besdies a woman in a black coat trying to fix her heel.

When I turned back around , the guy was gone. More people began to pass me getting aggravated that I was standing in the middle of the sidewalk with a huge snowboard.

I was lost in thought and confused for the rest of the walk. By the time I actually made it to the slopes, it was packed and snowing.
There were plenty of Children running around trying to carry sleds twice their size. A mom was frantically searching for her other twin son and a Dad got hit in the face with a snowball then proceeded to fall face first into he snow. I shook my head and began looking for Aleecia.

I had to walk around the hills about four times before I found Aleecia talking to a group of people. She must of spotted me because next thing I know, she's obnoxiously screaming my name and frantically waving her hand.
"Where have you been? It's been almost an hour!" Aleecia was always worried like a mother when their child doesn't pick up on the first ring.

"Sorry I had quite a trip here. Caught up with traffic." and people. "It took me forever to find you too!" I didn't want to bring up the incident with the guy because she would become paranoid and wouldn't let me out of her sight.

Approaching the group of friends she was with, I realized that I knew everyone in the group.

A girl named Maddie was to my right wearing her typical mint green north face. She was nice but got annoying really fast. You can only handle her in small amounts of time before you'd probably go crazy.

Next to Maddie was a blonde haird boy named Justin. He was the nicest guy I have ever met with a positive outlook on everything in life. I swear he's friends with everyone too and always likes talking to new people.

Lastly, next to Justin, was Cameron. The last person I would want to see here. He is the most arrogant, concieted, and annoying person I know. I'm pretty sure he hates me just as much though but I dont even care.

Cameron and I actually used to be best friend up until the ninth grade. He turned against me and started bullying me so he could fit in with the popular kids. Just dropped our friendship like he was throwing a penny into a fountain. Threw it and never thought about it again.
Ever since then he has had this hatred toward me for no reason and I'm still confused as to why he would pick the populars over me but it's whatever.

I said hello to everone including Cameron because I'm not some immature dramatic teenage girl. After that, everything was a blur. The hills were nice and smooth and it was so much fun to glide down. .The only part I didn't enjoy was the snow but I've learned to get used to it. And I almost ran over a kid but that happens almost every week.

I don't know what his problem is, but everytime I looked over and Cameron he was staring at me and then he would look away when I noticed.

"You should take a picture. It lasts longer, ya know." I watched cameron roll his eyes and look annoying and with satisfaction, I took off down the hill.

On the way down I thought about how weird the day has been. First some weird guy I don't even know is staring at me and now cameron. I'm starting to think I'm going crazy.
