Lexa's POV:
I'm in my tent, located in the village of Tondc, twirling my dagger in my hand out of boredom, when a guard and another woman enter through the light flaps of the entrance to my tent. "Heda!" I lift my head to meet my second, Indra. She seems out of breath and her eyes glow with urgency. "Yes?" I speak in my native language. "The scouts have seen a flaming rock flying towards a clearing not to far from Mount Weather." I immediately shoot up from the position I'm sitting in on my throne. I spin my dagger in my hand once more before sheathing it. I turn to the guard who accompanied Indra into my tent, "Ready the horses, Indra and I will depart in ten minutes." Indra breathes in, "Heda, don't you think we should bring other guards? There could be hostiles." I turn once more to face her and spit out,"Are you questioning my decisions Indra?" Indra's eyes are now laced in slight fear of her commander. "No Heda, I will make sure the horses are ready for our departure." I nod my head, and motion for both the guard and Indra to leave. The guard quickly backs out through the flaps and Indra shortly follows, I hear a small sigh of relief from Indra as she exits the large room. I turn and grab my armor, tightly buckling the straps around my shoulder and sliding my swords into the sheathing attached to the back of my armor. I look around and make sure that nothing is forgotten before our journey. I contemplate taking my map of the surrounding areas but decide against it. Having stayed in Tondc for a while I find that through the long walls I take to clear my head, I have memorized most of the forest around the small village. Being the leader of twelve clans, I had decided to move away from Polis, our Capitol, and station myself in Tondc. The queen of Azgeda (Ice Nation) has been sending her troops further south, towards my own clan, Trikru's territory. I intended to find out what they are doing and why, but now that this... Rock, is falling from the sky towards Trikru's territory, I feel the need to find out if whatever it is is dangerous. Indra opens the tent flaps and slowly walks in. "Heda, the horses are ready, would you like to go now?" I nod, and lead her outside. We walk over to our horses, mine being white and Indra's being a solid shade of brown, and mount them. We start at a trot through the trees and away from the small village that I have now grown to love, and as we do, we reach a clearing. I look up at the sky from the clearing and see it. That huge rock is flaming and falling fast, and I kick my horses sides urgently and take off at a gallop towards the object. I think to myself, I hope that it's not anything dangerous, I don't think I could handle another war..Clarke's POV:
All I hear is the crackling of fire and the creaking of the dropship. I'm sweating my eyes shut, partially because the constant flickering of the main lights was causing me to become more nauseated than I already am, but also because if the one hundred juveniles on this ship die, I do not want to see it happen. The reason we are being sent down here is because the Ark, the main ship we came from in space, is dying. The Ark was originally created for the survival of humanity after the nuclear war that stuck the earth with radiation, killing everything, at least, that's what we think. Since the Ark is in need of help, they sent one hundred of there juvenile prisoners on the dropship to earth, to see if after the many years of being in space, the earth is now inhabitable. I'm sitting to the right a boy named Finn, His dark brown hair and eyes heavily contrasting with my blonde hair and blue eyes. There is also Bellamy to my right, his curly black hair, dark brown eyes and tan skin also contrasting with my own features. Suddenly I hear a seat belt, the ones to keep us in place, unbuckle. I shoot my eyes open to see Finn, now floating above his seat, in awe at his own weightlessness. "What are you doing?! Get back in your seat you're going to get yourself killed!" He chuckles smugly, "Don't be such a downer, were all gonna die anyways, why not enjoy the journey?" With that final word, he kicks off the wall, propelling himself across the room, smiling and laughing. Bellamy is watching him, with longing in his eyes. He also starts undoing his restraints. I grab his hand,"No, no one else is getting hurt evaluate they are dumb enough to put themselves in danger!" He rolls his eyes as he suddenly floats up, smiling with shear happiness. Before he can get far off of his seat, the dropship crashes into the group at a furry so intense that Bellamy drops into his seat with a loud thud and an even louder groan. Finn, in the middle of one of his push-offs, flies at the side of the wall, hitting his side with a loud crack and lays unconscious on the floor. As the dropship comes to a complete stop, I ask myself, what now?A/N: Sorry that this chapter is so short I'm making longer chapters and this one was more of an introduction! Chapter two is a lot longer already and I'm only halfway done 😁😁
