Arabella Rivendell had the devil on her shoulder ever since she was a young girl. She just didn't know it yet. She thought that her being a unique young woman was a gift, but little did she know that it wasn't. That it was a curse in disguise and that it would tear her apart piece by piece, nerve by nerve. She was careless and reckless, and she did whatever she believed was to be right.

Joining the Avengers was one of the best decisions she had ever made in her life. She was brave enough to risk her life to save the lives of others, and risk her sanity for the job. But she never believed that she would ever fall in love with one of her coworkers, especially not one that could make her greatest fears come to life and make her go insane.

But one mission leaves the girl in the hospital and with a shaken memory. And her greatest fear had begun to come to life.

Forgetting the one person in the world she cared most about.

Third time's the charm, amirite? Hey, everyone, what's up? It's me...ya gal...What's embarassing is that I can't even put the actual first starting point of the first version of this fic because it's been so long, but hey! It's the third time and I have to do starfragment some justice because she gave me this plot years ago and the fact she's still my friend while I've left this to gather dust is surprising, but here I am, and we're gonna get it done, I swear to you.

This is set after Age of Ultron and most everything that I've changed in terms of canon will be explained in the story, but just an FYI, Pietro is still alive, so there's that. But everything else will be explained so just read on if you want.
