Spencer P.O.V

I rushed through the elevator doors, grinning like a madman. I started situating my stuff at my desk as I noticed Morgan staring at me. I glanced over at him.

"So, pretty boy, who has you rushing in here 25 minutes late with a grin plastered to your face?" He chuckled.

I blushed and looked down at my bag, "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Oh, I think you do."

"Good morning, guys," Emily said as she passed by. Morgan grinned.

"Reid's got a lady friend."

Emily stopped and looked at me quizzically. I began blushing furiously.

"I do not have a lady friend. It was just a nice conversation at a coffee shop, which resulted in me gaining her number." I smiled. Morgan came up and patted me on the back.

"Haha, my man."

"Guys, we've got a case," JJ said as she passed through. "And it's a bad one."

Our faces fell as we gathered our things and walked to the bullpen.

"La Plata County in Colorado received this phone call from 15-year-old Jessica Evanson, 2 days ago, '𝘏𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘮𝘦. 𝘏𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘥'𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭. 𝘐'𝘮 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 15. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘐'𝘮 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘯𝘦. 𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘮𝘦!' They believe that 'he' is referred to as Benjamin Cyrus."

I flipped through files, "Benjamin Cyrus; No criminal record. No record at all, really."

"Alright, wheels up in thirty. Reid, can I speak to you for a second in my office." Hotch asked. I looked up at him.

"Yes of course."

"Take a seat." He said, gesturing to the chair that sat across from his desk.

I sat down.

"You showed up 25 minutes late this morning."

"And?"

"'And' You haven't shown up that late for work since the incident with Tobias Hankle. What's going on, Spencer?" He looked at me concerningly. I got flushed and looked down.

"I met this person in a coffee shop," He raised his eyebrows. "And I spilt my coffee on her, to which she bought me a new one and we talked. And then she gave me her number." I looked down. He smiled.

"Just be careful." He responded, getting up and opening the door. I stepped out of his office. "And, Reid?"

"Yes?"

"I'd love to meet her sometime." I smiled and walked down to my desk.

I gathered my overnight bag and the pastel blue napkin and made my way to the jet.
