What if i fell in love with my best friends brother? ( A Zac Efron fanfic)

Chapter 1

  "Jade, wake up.youre going to be late for school its your last day untill summer vacation, you dont want to miss it do you?." My mom  said from the hallway. I didnt agnolige her so she began to say; "don't make me get the water bucket."  Normally It wouldnt take this long to get me up, but today just wasn't my day. "Why do i have to go. Were just going to watch movies all day. They even stopped calling role." I moaned. "Its your last day until summer. And plus i have to work." She replied.  "Im not a baby, I can stay home alone." I hissed. She walked out of the room and went down stairs almost as if she was trying to ignore what I said. "I dont know why you keep treating me like a baby!! Im almost seveteen years old!" I yelled from upstairs but my mom didn't reply.

i got up, put on my absolute favorite black and white stripped leggings, and my black lacy top. I couldn't decide what kind of shoes i should wear so i just slid on my black sandlas. I ran to the the bathroom brushed my teethh, put my hair in a bun, and added a little bit of makeup. I ran down stairs, "bye mom!" I yelled to her almost walking out the door. "Bye sweetheart have a good day!" i heard her yell back. I grabbed my keys and ran out the door.

I arrived at school and parked my blue mustang in the same spot i always do and headed to first period when i saw Colleen standing next to a group of people. "Jade! Hey!" she yelled "Hey." I groaned. "Whats your problem? Did I do or say something?" she said, looking concerned "No youre fine." I smiledd. "Im just not having a good start of the day." 

We started walking to first block when Colleen said "I need to use the restroom, come with?" Ehh I thought why not since the First bell hasn't even rang yet. 

We got to the restroom and Colleen was doing the usual, looking in the mirror at her self, making sure she looked okay. "Do I look okay?" She then asked. "Yeah you look fine." I replied.

Two minutes had past and the first bell started to ring. "Hurry up Colleen, we cant be late to Mr Spichadel's class again!" I said from the sink area. "Ok ok im coming." she replied as she walked out of the stull farthest to the back.

We walked into first block just as the tardy bell rang. "Just in time lady's."  Mr Spichadel said. Colleen and I looked at eachother and just smiled. We took our seats and Mr Spichadel started talking about summer vacation and what he plans on doing over it. He began to ask us what our plans are and everyones were basically the same.

Lunch finally arrived and i have to say, I was starvingg. We went to our usual table.  Theres not many people here today since its the last day untill summer. Today there was only; Colleen, Candise, Dom (Dominic, but i call him Dom.) Josie and I of coarse. Levi, Adriana and Ryan didn't show up today. "So, what do y'all plan on doing over the summer?" Dominic asked. "eh just the usual. Go to the beach, sleep." I giggled. "sounds lots of fun" He replied. "What about you Dom?" Colleen asked. "Um probably just play alot of basketball. You know me." He replied. 

Lunch block was over and Colleen and I started walking to fifth period when her brother Zac and his two friends (Lake and Chad) came over to us."What the hell do you want?" Colleen asked, she sounded pretty upset with him. "Ok ill leave then." He smirked. "Just tell me what you want." She assured him. "Just wanted to say hi since you act like you dont even know me around here." he laughed. "Okay now go away." she said, rolling her eyes. "Youre so mean to him Coleen." I laughed. "you dont have to live with hiim, hes annoying." She replied. "Youre just a turd." he said. I began to laugh  "a turd?" I asked nearly chocking on my spit. "Yeah. Got a problem?" He asked smirking at me. I just looked at him with a smile. He has the cutiest smile as well. Aw. Wait... No. I dont like him. Jade. you cant.. He's your bestfriends brother. That just wouldn't be right. 

We walked to fifth block and it seemed like it was going on forever but seventh period had come along and i was exhausted. Colleen and I walked into seventh period together; like always. "Hello girls." Mrs.Salarno smiled. "Hi Mrs. Salarno!" We both replied at the same time. "Ginx!!" Colleen said. "Aggg. I was going to say that." I looked at her. Mrs. Salarno giggled. "Okay everyone sit down." She said.  Seventh period went pretty fast.

The bell rang. "Hey, are you comming to my house today?" Colleen asked. "Uh yeah. why dont you drive home with me, ill get my clothes and we can head over to your house, okay?" I replied back to her

The ride home was very quiet. It almost wasn't normal. We arrived at my house, i grabbed a load of clothes, my brush, tooth brush, makeup, my charger to my phone, my laptop and headed out the door. "Is your brother going to be home tonight?" I asked her. "most likely with Lakey why?." She replied. "no reason." I smiled "but you and lake?" i grinned and winked at her. "No. were just friends thats all. & plus hes my brothers bestfriend. Ive known him since i was six." she answered. I just smiled.

We arrived at her house, i grabbed all my belongings and ran up stairs. "Are you hungry?" Colleen asked walking into the room. "No, im fine. Thanks." I smiled. Just as I said that Zac and Lake walked in. "What are y'all doing?"  Zac asked. "What does it look like were doing? Leave." She rolled her eyes. "Stop being mean Colleen, hes your brother." I nudged her "Plus, you'll have time to hangout with Lake." I said under my breath. "Ug, fine. Maybe we can all hangout. maybe." she said, not looking to pleased. "Okay and do what?" He replied."Lets go on a walk!" I added. They all looked at me and started walking to the door. 

Zac's Pov

We decided to go on a walk. I thought, thats a perfect time to make a move on Jade. Shes so cute.  I know its kind of weird since shes my little sisters best friend but Colleens just going to have to deal with it. Her and Lake are going to become a thing anyway.

Jade's Pov

Me and Colleen decided to walk a lot faster than them. "Colleen, can i ask you something?" I asked. "yeah, anything.. " She stated. looking clueless. "What if I liked your brother? Would you be okay with it?" I asked. "um it would be kind of weird, but i guess yeah. Why? You like him dont you? " I smiled. "yeah.. but you like Lake, dont you?" i reassured her. "yeah. kind of." she replied.

Lake's Pov

After we decided to go on a walk i decided it would be a good time to get with Colleen. Kind of weird if you think about it since shes my best friends little sister but he'll be fine with it. "Hey guys! lets play truth or dare." I said. "Uh okay, but dont dare me to do anything with my sister. that'd be weird and i refuse." He said. 

Jade's Pov

So I guess were playing truth or dare. I hope Zac gets dared to kiss me. That would be perfect.

[ TRUTH OR DARE GAME ]

"Whos going first?" I asked. "Colleen, you go first." Zac said.

"Uh okay. Zac, truth or dare?" she giggled. "dare." He replied.

"I dare you to sit next to Jade and hold her hand. I looked at Colleen. Uh what? "Okay." He smiled. He walked over to me and held my hand. He held my hand pretty much for most of the game, a few turns wennt bye.

"Lake your turn to dare." Zac said. "Okay, Jade. Truth or dare?" He asked me. " Dare." I said sounding frightened. "I dare you to kiss Zac, on the lips." I looked at him. I could see Zac smiling. Zac was alreadyy sitting next to me so i looked at him and leaned into Kiss him. My lips met his. We both smiled. We kissed for like ten seconds and then Colleen said "Stop enjoying that to much, we have get home before dad does."

We walked home and Zac held my hand the whole way home. This summer started off to a good start..
