She sits on her bed, eyes red, cheeks wet with unnoticed tears.
She tries to stop the tears, but she can’t.
Some say it's depression, or a disease.
As others say its for attention or sadness.
But little do they know, that she feels alone, trapped, unnoticed.
Some try to help, but end up annoyed.
Some don't even try, or notice her pain.
It feels likes your in a cage, or being tied up.
But she isn't behind bars, or in a cage.
She is stuck in her thoughts.
She is stuck behind her emotions.
Thoughts about what others say about her,
Causing her too feel insecure.
Thoughts about failing,
Causing her to be afraid.
Thoughts about losing everyone,
Causing her to not trust you.
She sits on her bed, eyes red, cheeks wet with unnoticed tears.
She tries to stop the tears, but she can’t.
And by the time, anyone notices,
It's too late.
She is trapped.
But not by bars or rope,
But by emotions and thoughts.
But most importantly,
She's trapped by herself.
