Gay?

Hey! I've a friend in France that is afraid to come out because she thinks people are homophobes. I'm trying to make her understand that everybody isn't homophobe and that if her friends are true friends, they won't care of her sexuality.
How would u react if your friend tells u she/he is gay/bi?

If I'm in that position, I would honestly just accept her sexuality. I would continue being her friend and act normally around her because even though she's gay, she's still a person. Being attracted to people of the same sex does not make you a monster, it does not make you awfully different (just uniquely so) and people who thinks being gay is disgusting should just fuck themselves.

If everyone in the world are homophobic, why is the campaign, PRIDE even a thing? The fact that the campaign is supported all around the world shows how supportive majority of people are to this matter. Tell her that suppressing her sexuality is like hiding a huge part of herself. Confidence is key in achieving success, and the only way to be fully confident is by expressing yourself to the fullest.
