Your mute because you had been abused by your father when you were young. Even after your mother took you away from him,you never spoke a word because you forgot how to speak ever since.Now your in high school,you still can't speak.you always carry a whiteboard,a marker and a eraser with you at all times. Your always been bullied by others because of your disability,and that made you even remember the times your father abused you.
"Now where are you going mute?"the bully asked."Oh wait,you can't talk.so how can you answer..!"he said while laughing at you.You just balled up your fists and kept your head low."hey,stop." a student said to the bully. "huh?"he said while turning around to see a tall boy staring down at him.you look behind your hair to see his face, his facial expression seems to look like he's very strict.but you can determine in his voice that he's nice. "Stop bullying her."he said bluntly."And what if I don't want to?"the bully said in a tune."then punch you in the throat and let you experience what she is experiencing.."he said threathingly."Okay, I won't bully her ever again!!"the bully said terrified then ran away.
The boy looked at you."are you okay?"he asked.You got your whiteboard and marker and wrote, "i'm okay,Thank you..Um, what's your name?"you showed in front of him."I'm Berwald,and you are?"he asked.you erased the words then you wrote again."I'm (y/n),nice to meet you Berwald."you showed what you wrote."Why does he bully you (y/n)?" berwald asked.You wrote again,"I'm mute and everyone makes fun of me because of that."you showed it to him. "can we be friends? I'm feared by everyone here too because of my appearance."he said.you wrote again and smiled at him while showing what you wrote,"That would be great!!"he smiled then the bell rang.
You two stared at each other wide eyed."Shoot, we're late.(y/n) where's your class?I'm walking you there first."He insisted.you wrote, "This school has it's own class for those who has disabilities and those who want to learn hand languages.My class doesn't start in about an hour."you showed it to him.he smiled after reading what you wrote, "Well, it must be fate because I'm in one of those classes.Let's go." he said while offering his hand for you to hold. you gladly accepted it then you two walked towards your class.your teacher looked at the two of you,"Ah,hello(y/n),Berwald.you two came early today."The teacher said then looked at Berwald. "Berwald,I trust you'll help (y/n) with her hand signs yes?"the teacher asked.Berwald nodded while you looked at berwald in surprise.
Berwald lead you to a table and you two sat infront of each other.You made some hand gestures which he understood completely."Why didn't you told me that you learned hand gestures?"Berwald stated and you nodded."I'm sorry about that,it's because i already saw you attend this class and i always follow you and watched you be bullied by him."he answered while looking down.You tapped his shoulder then made gestures again."I always noticed that you always watched me and I'm glad that you always take your time to watch me if something bad happens to me."Berwald stated after looking at your gesture."Don't worry about that,It's my duty to protect my lo-i mean friend."Berwald quickly said before he could slipped what he really feels about you.
You gestured again while a smile plastered on your face."Please don't lie to me.Please repeat what you really want to say to me."Berwald stated with a tone of embarassment.You nodded then he sighed."Okay (y/n), What i meant to say is,It's my duty to check to see if the one I love is safe.."He said while looking away from your face.you were surprised that your friend loves you.Berwald sighed,"It's okay that you don't accept my feeling-"He was suddenly stopped by soft lips on his.he frozed for a moment but melted with the kiss.You broke the kiss then gestured with a smile on your face."Now you know my answer Berwald."he stated which made him smiled."I love you (y/n) more than you ever know." Berwald gestured then hugged you.
