Your character has found something that was left behind in a bygone era. The only thing is that they don't know what it is or what it was used for... and there's no one around to ask anymore.
How do they introduce others to this item? Maybe they think that we worship gold or a dummy from Madam Tussards? How could you introduce the Declaration of Independence into your story? What would your character do with an empty mall?
