The Other Side

Chapter two

As I took the step in to the mirror I closed my eyes only to open them and see the opposite insted of lush blossomed trees and emerald grass and birds that flew across the sky I saw bare trees and dead grass and not an animal in site. I turned around to find my way out of this depressing world but as I turned I saw the mirror closing up but as u tried to run through something was pulling me back stoplight me from getting home. 'NOOOOOOOO!!!'
I was trapped there was nothing around me. No one to help me. I was alone.

After what felt like an hour I started to see a small figure in the distance I started running up to it hoping it was someone who could help me but as I got closer I was shocked to see that it wasn't a person or any ordinary animal bit it looked like a female sphinx?? She had a golden lion front with large wings and back of an egeal but she had a beautiful face that looked like she was only young 'Um hello-'
'HULT!' Her voice sounded very serious so I did as asked 'What is your bissness here?'

'I Um.... I need to speak with your leader.'

'Why? Who are you?'

'My name is Elia Jacobs and I'm from the world on the other side of the mirror.'

'Oh my! ...Your majesty.' Why was this sphinx call  me 'your majesty'? I'm not queen!?
'I'm sort but you must be mistaken! I'm no queen!'

'But of course you are! Your the girl in the prophecy!'

'What prophecy?'

'"When all is in peril there there will be a girl from the mirror who will slay the monster then the girl from the mirror will then be our queen." Now do you get it? It has to be you! You can save us!'

'Please just let me speak to your leader and then let me go home there has to be someone else's! Anyone else!'

'I'm sorry your majesty but it's you and we will all be there to help.'
