everyday, Kendall came over.
8am.
we'd drive to school, get there, get out the car and meet our friends.
everyday I had to watch Kendall
with Jack.
The schools quarterback.

Everyday, id spent time with Kendall
and fall more in love with her
than I already was.

Every-fucking-day, id think about telling
Kendall how much I love her
and shit out like a bitch because Im afraid of losing her.

"E-tee-wee-tee, are you awake?" Kendall's voice entered my room, along with her sweet
fruity scent. I opened my eyes,
rubbing them with my large hands.

"Yep" I answer, sitting up.
She smiled when we made eye contact.
She looked beautiful.

She was wearing leggings and one of my STUSSY hoodies, but she looked amazing.
Her hair was up, and she had no makeup on her beautiful face.

This, is the Kendall I like best.
She was naturally beautiful, and failed to see it when she covered herself in
makeup and curled her long, brown hair.

"You look nice" I said as she crawled into my bed. She smiled and lay down next to me.
"I can't be fucked with school today, E" she sighed, placing her hands over her face.

"Why not?" I asked, shifting so I was looking down at her. Kendall is literally a social
butterfly and loves school and seeing her friends. "I had a fight with
Jack" she answered me truthfully.

Usually I had to fight her
to get her to admit that they weren't at all the perfect couple everyone
thought they were.

"What about this time?" I groaned, knowing that by tomorrow they'd be fucking
each other in the locker room again.

But, something about the look in her eyes and the distressed frown on her face
gave me a weird feeling.- as if something about this 'fight' was different.

"He uh, cheated on me" she sighed, rubbing her forehead.
Anger shot through me, making me want to put her in the car, drive to school, march up to Jack-fucking-Dail
and punch him right in the sack and tell him
how much he fucked up by letting
someone like her go like that.

"Shit, Kenny, I'm so sorry" I sighed, unable to tell her what I wanted to do,
for she might figure out just how I feel about her.

"I'm over it, E. I just wanna hang with you.
You'd never hurt me
and I love that about you" she said,
cosy-ing into my bed.

I lay down next to her,
extending my arm so she could lie in at my side, an action she always saw
as platonic.

I, however, was eternally grateful
to even have her in my arms.

Friends is all we'd ever be,
but just having her near me never, ever, failed
to make me the happiest guy alive.
