"So do you want to or not?" She asked looking at the paper, eyes skimming over the information. Her superior slid the paper out of her hand and smirked at what he read,
"I believe that this would help my career." The boy replies almost sheepishly, never having been atop an actual big time stage before. The man smiles up at him,
"Career?" He puts down the paper he'd previously been captivated with, "According to yourself, at least what you've written on your audition sheet, you've never been and I quote, 'a really cool, big-time production'. So what career is it that you're referring to?" The boy cowers at his own words, disbelief spreading into his mind. 'Maybe I can't do this...' he began to think to himself. He stepped back, making the man at the desk frown. "If that is how you feel, this isn't for you. Wasting our time isn't something we find quite enjoyable." He lifts up the paper, going to rip it, and discard of it like many others. No second thoughts appeared as he made the rip half way down the paper. However the sound of ripping startled the young man on the stage,
"I don't need a professional career, to know that I'd be a great actor for this role." He says, confidence lacing his words, willing the man to cease the ripping. The man complies, and a smile reappears on his face,
"Why do you believe this?" He asks, and the boy doesn't shy away this time,
"I could no more explain it to you better than I could show you." He replies and as if on queue a script is handed to him,
"Then please do," He leans back, "do show us Mr. Grey."
