Sorry for the (super) late chapter. :(
Y/N walked with a sense of purpose. She had Mandy, Mike, Jeremy, Fritz, and PG following her. She hid a smile as she approached the room that belonged to Vincent's corpse.
"H-here it is-s." Y/N stuttered. She had her coworkers wrapped around her finger. Jeremy hugged Y/N and looked towards Mandy. Y/N sniffled and buried her face into Jeremy's chest. She was trying so hard not to crack.
"Here we go then." Mandy said as she opened up the spare room. Y/N lifted her head up and wiped her fake tears away.
"I'll show you guys." Y/N sniffled. She cautiously went down the steps into the much bigger storage room. There was the video games, the boxes, and there was the golden bunny. Y/N looked at the sight before her.
"I-is th-at h-im, Y-N?" Jeremy asked. Y/N nodded. She approached the once golden rabbit and slowly removed the head of the animatronic mascot.
The others were definitely not ready for what they saw. Vincent was beyond recognizable. Mandy excused herself and went out into the hall. Fritz turned around and shook his head. Mike stood there speechless. PG left with Mandy, and Jeremy hugged Y/N again and avoided looking at the corpse.
"Y/N..." The corpse whispered. Everyone, minus PG and Mandy, looked at the corpse with a mixture of fear and wonder.
"I...tr-ried apologiz-ing..." Vincent choked. Y/N cackled.
"I know you did! But that doesn't change a thing! You sick piece of filth." Y/N spat. Vincent chuckled.
"If you only knew my past, Y/N. You'd understand why I did what I did. You'd get the full picture and not just half." Vincent explained. Y/N stared into the familiar eyes.
"Then you should have told me earlier."
