A True Inspiration

There once was this kid

Confused & alone

until this one man came along

and she suddenly grown.

She was always so down

hating herself

forever a frown

Until Drew showed up and took it all away.

A young boy walked onto stage

he started to sing

all of a sudden, everything changed.

She turned to the tv and began to stare

at these handsome young men

who never would have thought they'd

soon become millionaires.

They all are so sweet

but the one caught her eye

A young man named Drew Chadwick

who happened to be an extremely fantastic guy.

His love for our earth

meant nothing to her at first

until she looked deeply

and understood him completely.

Who would have thought shed get so attached

Their minds matched so perfectly

she finally could sleep comfortably.

He wasn't just a celebrity to her

oh no he was way more.

Youre probably thinking, oh shes in love!

But no, thats not it at all.

She looked at him as a best friend

more like a brother.

He made her change her mind

about everything in life

Its like she suddenly became blind.

Every little thing changed.

The way she looked at the sky

The flowers, trees, people

Everything that she walked by.

Her life was completely changed

I doubt Drew even knew

That he changed this girls life

Without him

I doubt she would have survived.

The day finally came

When she met the guy who helped her believe

That life is not as bad as it seems.

She walked up the steps and she

Couldn't believe her eyes

Standing right in front of her

Was those three amazing guys.

She ran up to Drew & gave him a huge hug

The smile on both of their faces was greater than any drug.

Little did he know

How happy this girl was

To finally meet the dude

That changed her entire attitude.

He doesn't remember her

But she certainly remembers him.

After all he was the man

Who helped her learn to give a damn.

Drew I hope you will sometime see

That girl just happens to be me.

You impacted my life so greatly

And for that

I can not thank you enough

Its all because of you

That today I am so tough

Keep doing what you are doing

Please dont ever stop

I wish one day to do what you do

Create music and inspire people too

You are the reason i'm the person I am today
