Okay This book...

I gave it a 8/10

But I still loved it!

The story begins with Victor Frankenstein talking you about his parents. Named; Caroline and Alphonse Frankenstein.

How the two met, His father met his mother because he was friends with her father...

Ew...

So they end up falling in Love, and both enjoyed Going off, and traveling.

Yeah, 1700s, it takes time!

So first born was Victor, then Ester, and lastly the youngest boy was William.

One Day, Caroline and Victor went to this poor family, because she liked to go off, and see the poorer people... Anyway, she met this woman, who told her that she had helped raise this little girl, but cannot keep her now.

This little girl was Elizabeth! 

So she takes her in!

A few years later, Caroline falls Ill, Victor is about to go off to collage, when this happens, and only a few DAYS before he leaves, she dies.

Victor is 17 when this happens, and everyone is hit hard.

Victors best friend; Henry Clerval, wanted to go too, but couldn't.

A few years pass, (2 years) and Frankenstein is getting into Grave Robbing!

And at the young age of 19, he brings Creature alive!

So Victor freaks the crap out, and runs off in the rain, only to walk around town until, Oh Hey Look! Henry Made It!

Yup! Henry finally made it to collage!

And the day after Creature was created he showed up!

How lucky are you Victor? *He just gives me a look*

So after they walk around, Henry wants to see his room, Victor runs off to check is Creature is still there, he's gone.

So Victor gets sick, and its a year later, he get a letter from his father....

His youngest brother; William was murdered.

And a woman was convicted. 

So he races home, only to stop, and walk around in the rain...

Seeing...

Creature...

He puts two and two together, Creature killed his brother!

After this his friend's trial for his brothers murder went on, and she was hanged.

After this, everyone was just sad...

Victor made a trip into the mountains to "Cool his head" and this is where he met up, and talked to Creature for the first time!

He saw him, and just started to yell at him!

Creatures first line in the book is a smug, short sentence.

"I expected this reaction" 

XD I Love Creature.

So he ends up telling Frankenstein about what he did...

He left the lab, and found a lovely family, he watched for a long time, learning.

After he went and tried to talk to a blind old man, only to be screamed at by the rest of the family.

He left, only to go kill William, because he hated being created, and wanted Frankenstein to Suffer! 

So he even planted the fake evidence!

So after telling Victor this, he asked for the Scientist would make his a lady friend so he will never come back!

Victor agrees, and they part!

A few years pass (He's like 27 now) and he and Henry plan a trip, one so Victor can MAKE the lady friend, and another so he doesn't have to do it at home.

So they leave and in Ireland, Victor and Henry split up, Victor starts to build the woman, and Henry just goes off and party's!

So Victor soon finds out, he really cant do this, he's got PTSD about this entire "Bringing dead things back to life thing", and just freaks out.

Creature, who has been following him the entire time, Confronts him, Victor tells him he just cant, and Creature is really mad! Promises to see him on his wedding day!

When he starts to leave, he finds that there was a MURDER!

it turns out Creature killed Henry!!

NOO THE BROMANCE!!

Anyway Victors father comes and picks him up, bringing him home, and He gets ready for his wedding in a few weeks.

At this point, Victor is now a Single, Salty, Sassy, Depressed, 27 year old, with two pistols and a Dagger.

I Love This Guy.

So his wedding comes, and its all fun!

But then they stop for the night, and Victor is waiting for creature, for only when he takes his eyes off Elizabeth for a second, Creature goes in a kills her!

Now he's mad! (Er)

When he tells his father what happened, his father dies, And Victor Finally goes to the Police!

They tell him its nothing and Victor says the AMAZING Line; ""Man" I cried "how ignorant art thou in thy pride of wisdom! Cease; you know not what it is you say""

In short this line means; "Man! How Stupid Are You!? Of Course, You Don't Know What Your Talking About!"

Then he storms out, to DO Something!

His plan is to hunt down Creature, and Kill Him!

Then its like a few years of him chasing him around the world, only to go north, and get stuck on a piece of ice, to be found by a ship, and to tell this story to Robert Walter!

Whose writing to his sister!

How Cute!

Anyway, this goes into his voice, and not Victors, who ends up dieing on the boat, from the sickness he got floating on the ice.

In the end, creature confronts Walter, only to find Victors body, freak out, and have this really long dialog, (That you HAVE to read in ONE Breath! it'll make it more tense when you read it!)

And goes to kill himself, because all he was living for, is now gone!

and it ends with Creature jumping out the window...

I like this story because it's told by Victor just talking about it, there are a bunch of letters in the story, and they all are from, and to random people really.

I would tell you to do what i did, there are 4 letter in the beginning, when you get to chapter 22, go back and read them! they make more sense! Just trust me there!

And yes there are 3 Acts, with 7 chapters each, just count, you'll figure it out.

The story takes forever to start up, but! when it gets rolling, its great! you will end up loving the characters!

My problems with this...

Yes the slow start could be off putting, and the confusing lettering is also like that...

The way they talk is in old English, so if you don't know it that well, then go a look it up! but if you need me to clarify Any of it! tell me, I'll tell you! ^u^ I love that kind of thing!

So umm...

Just stick with it, you'll like it! (unless if you don't...)

Anyway!

I would put this in my Top Ten Fav books!

So go read it!
