Thunder rang out through a dimly lit building as the heavy thudding of machinery sang through the air.
"Well Tomas, I congratulate you on getting these robots to take off." a man with red hair and a stubbly chin said placing his hand on a shorter man's shoulder
"Thanks Brendan, i'm glad they're flying out really quickly!" the shorter male said happily
but the moment was interrupted by a loud alarm and red lights flashing as the conveyor belt stopped by what seemed like a partly broken and shaking android.
"Damn!" Tomas cried stamping his foot causing the larger male to laugh
"First malfunctioned robot huh?" he asked
Tomas nodded before giving a signal to throw the robot into the bin and start over only for the android to fly off the rail and seeming to hide under the belt as it's screen turned on. A blue screen flew into color as the robot's screen was powering up, two white eyes popped on next with the same screen blue panicked irises
"W-Who are you? Wait...Who am i?! Where am i?!?!" the android cried his voice high pitched like a child's.
Both men gave a look of confusion before Brendan growled.
"It's awake? How is that possible?!" he seethed
Tomas looked confused but covered it up with anger.
"Take it to the furnace! It meets none of our expectations!" Tomas snarled pointing at the young android.
With a cry of fear the little robot darted away as fast as his wheels would allow dodging most of the machines reaching for him except one which cut into his arm allowing oil to flow freely. Ducking under a guard,miraculously because he has no joints under is stereo system,the little android looked back only to cry out as electricity flew through him. Pain and stiffness flooded his body,before he let out another cry regaining control,before pushing the doors open and escaping.
"Go! G-" a hand placed itself of the raging raven-head.
"Let it go. It's not worth our time. We need to focus on the other ones." Brendan said
"It won't last a week out there...."
