"Beck, this past month you've lived here, has been so fun. It's just that, you don't seem to remember that you have a girlfriend."

"I remember."

"Then we can't be doing this." She let go of my hands. "I agree that I did something bad yesterday. I need to have a punishment for it. Just do me a favour and stay with her."

"What do you mean. Paris I still like you"

"I know. Just, stay with her. For me. Don't be so nice to me. I deserve it." She got up and headed out.

"Paris but I forgive you!" I stood up. "Please"

She turned around and looked at me in the eyes. It's almost like she couldn't handle it. All she did was walk out.

December 28* date of court.

"You really don't have to come" I told Paris as she adjusted my tie.

"It's the least I can do. Honestly Beck" she replied with no emotion on her face. She must still be thinking about Christmas Eve I know I can't stop either.

"Thanks" I quietly said. She smirked and grabbed her coat. "You good Sab?" She asked Sabrina who had just gotten her coat and shoes on. She replied 'yes'.

"What will happen?" She asked curiously. "Will I have to do something?"

"I think you will have to explain the story. Don't be scared."

Court*

Beck's POV.

"This is the court date for Jeremy Reid. He has abused both of his kids Repeatedly. Beck Reid, 18 and Sabrina Reid,13"

"We will start this by Sabrina Reid telling us what has happened. Beck will be next."

Sabrina nervously stood up from her chair. "My father has physically abused me from head to toe multiple times. Repeatedly screamed at me telling my brother to he out of the house. That he doesn't deserve to be here."

"And why do you think he is like this?"

"My mom died. A couple years ago. Ever since he has been like this."

"Mr. Reid is there comments in the case?"

"Agreeing to the Abusing. I never would tell my child he doesn't belong here."

"Beck? Your review?"

I stood up as nervous as Sabrina. This was the first time I have faced my dad in a serious case. "My father has abused my sister an I many times as she said. When I tried to call the cops on the last day, he kicked me out before I could. Just the week before he told me 'you were a mistake. Never should've been born' he states that at least every month and I have had enough."

"Beck. Come on" dad pointed at me.

"And what should happen to him? In Sabrina and your minds. What has he done to you so much he needs a punishment."

"I can't answer that. All I know is that I would never live with him again" my dad broke out in fake tears.

After repeatedly telling the judge everything I think it's about to come to an end. They had only mentioned Paris once. Just to say we are living with her.
