"Princess Peach!" a voice shouted.
I turned to see a red Luma flying towards me. It's eyes were big, and it's cuteness was outstanding. It's amazing how these creatures could possibly have been wiped out at one point.
"Yes," I said calmly. "Do you need something, hopefully something I can accomplish."
"When is Mama coming home?"
I should tell you some information before I continue. I am Princess Peach of Mushroom kingdom. My hero and love of my life is Mario. And my two best friends are Princess Daisy and Princess Rosalina. At thins moment, I am watching Rosalina's home and Lumas while she is away.
Lumas are star children. Rosalina let herself become their mother. Ever since then, they've been gathering, and now there's hundreds of Lumas. They are all cute though, and sweet. One more thing you should know, I'm in outer space. That's where Rosalina lives. I live on Earth though.
Rosalina has magical powers though. She gets her powers from the stars that help her travel across the galaxy. The amazing thing is, she was born on Earth! She doesn't really visit much anymore, except at star festivals. This only happens once every hundred years. That's all you need to know for now.
"I'm sorry, but I don't know. Do you miss her?"
The Luma nodded and started to fly away sadly.
"Wait!" I shouted. "Is there anything else I can do for you? I can... cook, play with you in the secret garden, read..."
"OH, THAT ONE, THAT ONE!" The Luma shouted flying back into my arms. "Please read us a story from the library!"
"Did I hear library?" another Luma shouted. "Is Peach reading to us?"
"YES! She is!" The first Luma shouted.
"I'll go tell everyone else then! We have to spread the word!" The second Luma said gladly.
"Yeah, I guess I'll be reading....." I said quietly. I didn't want the other two Lumas to hear me uncertain, they had become so happy.
Lumas were flying everywhere, so many Lumas had taken flight to deliver the message. I decided I had to go look for a good book before it got too crowded in the library. So I did.
They library had neatly stacked books on each and every self. There was a rocking chair near the center next to a table. On the table was Rosalina's storybook, every Luma must have read it a thousand time. I couldn't bore them with the same story.
Minutes after searching, Lumas poured in the room. Lumas of red, green, yellow, blue, and more light up the room. They floated, silent, waiting for my voice to fill the room.
"Hello everyone! As you know I'm going to be reading today, so which book do you want me to read? How about, this old one!"
I picked up a book, it had a dusty cover and the words were faded. I could make it out after studying it. "Charlotte's Web! How about Charolette's web?"
"That was Mama's mother's book. Mama took it before she left with the original Luma." Every Luma turned to what looked like an older Luma, but it's hard to tell, 'cause they all basically look the same. "We all have read that book at least once. Or at the very least, a chapter or two."
"Oh," I said placing the book back. "What book do you want then?"
All the Lumas turned to each other, then one is the front row said quietly, "The Untold Story."
"The what?" I asked trying to keep a smile.
"The Untold Story," another Luma said. "Mama keeps it on the top right and self. She forbids us from reading it, and she checks to make sure the book is back on that self everyday in the same place exactly."
"So why do you want me to read it?" I asked.
"Because, you can finish it before Mama comes home. She'll never know."
"Ok...." I said unsure. "Do you guys know anything about it?"
"Well," a green Luma called out. "I tried to read it once. I know Mama wrote it, and she wrote it in the third person."
"That's right," a blue Luma interrupted. "And she did it like this so that in the future, after she is dead, or a dreadful event happens leading in our downfall, no one will know that it happened. No one will know about us, or that the book is a true story. No human or thing in the universe will know the secrets of Rosalina, and her Luma family."
"I suppose I'll read it, if it makes ALL of you happy."
"It will!" all the Lumas cried. "It will, it will!"
"Ok then." I turned to look for "The Untold Story."
I grabbed a stool and looked at the top right self. It was filled with a variety of books. The self was practically overflowing. I pulled out one, but it wasn't correct. Lots of the book pulled out were instructions to do something. But the Lumas encouraged me to keep looking.
Finally I pulled out a beat up book. The cover was black leather with the word "Untold" scratched in it. The edges were also ripped up and shredded slightly. On top of all of this, it was dusty. The scratched in word was filled with dust. I blew on it, and dust flew up, surrounding my face.
"Lumas!" I shouted. "I think I found it!"
All the Lumas cheered as I stepped off the stool. The book tightly gripped in my hand.
"Start reading! Start reading," the blue Lumas shouted. Soon all other Lumas joined in.
"I will, I will. Just be patient. I'm not even supposed to be reading this book," I said back.
"We're sorry, it's just a story we have not read It's so exciting!" A green Luma said.
"Well, I guess I'll start now." I opened the book, releasing a musty smell from the old pages. "Wait, there's something written here." I said.
On the first page, there was a message written in black ink. It read:
"Dear reader, I understand that these pages may be tempting and mysterious, but do not be alarmed. Untold may remain untold, so I'm trusting my words in your capable hands. Keep words in mind, do not fear the fearful. I fully trust you, to keep this to yourself -the writer"
