How simple you are,
Thin paper,
Black ink,
Leather cover,
But with what you hold,
You can take people anywhere,
Back in time,
Into the future,
To galaxies far far away,
To the realm of Elves, Dwarves, and dragons,
And magical schools to learn witchcraft and wizardry,
With words you take people away on adventures,
Or try to solve a mystery,
Or fighting a historic battle,
You are a time machine,
But when we close you,
We snap back to reality

PoetryI felt like writing these poems for no apparent reason. People read them and said that they were good so here it goes. P.S. I wrote these when I was 12. They are most likely very cringey so forwarning you.
