Chapter 1: The Past is in the Past
I can't take this anymore! Seventeen fucking years! I feel my time coming. Any day now...
For as long as I can remember I had this... Disease, this impurity. The word brings me to chills... Cancer. I ask God everyday, "Why me? What did I do to deserve this, I committed no crimes, I haven't committed any sins, so what's the reason?"
I wish I can just live a normal life, a normal life like my "so-called friends" live. They're not really my friends, I think they are just using me so they can be called heroes for when I die, but I don't mind, life is too short to be worrying about the kind of shit.
I'm kind of different than the kids in my school. They're into the drugs, alcohol, fame and fortune. I'm just into my imagination. I'm into fiction. Before my dad passed way, he used to take me to all these Disney conventions, my idol was Prince Charming... He was just so... Well... Charming... I mean he gets all the ladies and he has the good looks and perfect body. I'm just a short, bald eighteen year old, nobody would date me. Anyways, my dad used to take me to all these conventions when I was eight, I loved them, except for the time I started coughing up blood. My dad and I exited the convention and he tried driving me to the hospital... Keyword... Tried. He was in such a rush, he was speeding and crossing red lights and everything, he was the type of person you would not want to see on the road. He ran a stop sign and we got into a car accident. Everything I saw faded away, I had a seatbelt on, he didn't. I still blame myself everyday to the death of my father, I still picture him flying out the front window and me being drenched in my own blood. I miss him.
