Chapter 8
Korra's face burned from the whipping frigid air. Naga kept running strong, in no given direction. Korra knew that the White Lotus would burn up all of the South Pole to find her, but she didn't care; she didn't know why she ran away. Rage? Anger? Dishonesty? She didn't care, she just kept running.

Naga stopped dead. They stopped at the water's edge. The vast ocean enveloped Korra and her polar bear dog in a fortress of confusion and isolation. Korra created a quick ice fortress and started a fire. The fortress was pure ice and would take at least 5 hours to melt completely so Korra didn't have much time.
"What am I going to do now, Naga?" The beast's head cocked to the side. What would Naga know?

Korra scanned the area looking for footprints or signs of Mantnak. Nothing was there. Nothing at all.

Chapter 9
Mako had too much on his mind. While Bolin was moving on in his "movers" career, he was left in a state of love-struckness and paranoia. Who was the robber from the appliance store?

He yawned slowly and jumped from his bed. He had to carry on with life. Pulling on his regular attire and combing his hair roughly, Mako was ready to do anything. He was still on his month break assigned by Chief Beifong, so in reality, Mako had nothing to do.

Without thinking, Mako made his way through the door and out to the sidewalk. He pulled up his scarf to shield himself from the fierce winds. He managed to get through Rush Hour and to the park. This park was where him and Korra first stayed when they were on a search for Bolin. To his surprise, he never thought he would see Asami sitting on a bench alone.

By instinct, he walked up to her and sat next to her.
"Hey Asami," He spoke kindly.

She was shock as well and jolted ever so slightly. "Oh hey, Mako." Her voice was thin and soft. She seemed nervous.

There was a long awkward silence until Mako sighed.

"So, how have things been?" He looked away.

"Look Mako, it's nice meeting up with you but I have to go. I'm so sorry.." Asami sprinted past Mako and into the crowd of people.
"So much for a nice conversation..." Mako sighed, closing his eyes. Mako had always felt nervous around Asami, even when they were together. But something didn't feel right about Asami. She seemed too nervous.

Hours passed and Mako sat in that same spot until it was pitch black outside.
"Hey Mako!" A voice came from the dark.
Yuana appeared from the dark, bringing a halo of light with her. Mako moved his eyes to see her long flowy dress and Snow White hair.
"Hey Yuana." he had no energy for emotion : Asami was still rambling in his head. And it was noticeable.

"What would be up with Asami, you think?" Yuana asked awkwardly.

"How do you know?" Mako asked with surprise.

"I'm the moon's daughter. I can be seen at night, and in the day even though most can't see me, I'm still there."
