➳ Chapter One

Colder Weather
Finn's POV

It was cold outside but warm inside this house.I looked at my phone and then looked at the weather -9 snowing. I looked at the fireplace with the blaze of red and orange and blue at the bottom and the crackly noise it made. I was sitting in my chair, a rocking chair to be exact. I had a side table next to me that had my phone on it, hot chocolate, some biscuits, and a small lamp. Me in my chair and staring and spacing off into the fireplace.

Then some one knocked on the door. I took my blanket off and placed it back on my chair. "Coming." I said, approaching the door. I looked through the window and it Noah then I unlocked it with the key I had in my hand. "Hey Noah what do you need?" I asked. Noah had his coat on and he brought blankets I began to worry a bit. "Well umm can I stay the night my mom is out of town and well my power went out and I don't have a fireplace." Noah explained. "Noah come on in." I said, letting him in. I pushed the other rocking chair over next to mine and grabbed a few pillows. "Here Noah you can sit here and I'll get you some food and some hot chocolate." I said. "Thank you Finn." Noah thanked me. "Ha anytime." I said. I made him some hot chocolate and got some biscuits. I put the biscuits on a white small plate and the hot chocolate in a mug. Then I grabbed another side table put it next to Noah and placed everything there. "Thanks Finn!" Noah thanked me. I replied with, "you're welcome Noah." Then Noah smiled at me and I smiled directly back.

Though out that night Noah and I couldn't stop talking we stayed up until 2:49 am that night. When I woke up I looked over at Noah. "He's so cute when he's sleeping." I whispered to myself. Then looked at my hand and his and my hands were locked together. I looked away and my face went red. Then I purposely went back to sleep for him to see for himself.
