Chapter Four

Leaving
Finn's POV

I was gazing out the window holding Noah's hand. Then the phone rang and I walked slowly down the stairs with Noah. The phone stopped ringing and it left a message. "Hello? This is Noah's mom and well is Noah at your house because the power went out and I'm assuming he went to one of his friends please respond when possible." Noah's mom explained. "Hey Noah I have an idea." I said. Noah looked up and said, "Well, what is it? Wait no? Yes? Maybe? I don't know Finn." I looked at Noah and smiled. Noah understood me now. I grabbed the biggest backpack I had well two of them, one for Noah and the other one for me. I grabbed two flashlights and put them in. Noah was getting some food and was getting some knifes just in case. I grabbed a blanket and two pillows and tried to get them in and somehow did. Noah and I ran around the house looking for stuff to grab. "Hey! Noah you ready?" I yelled across the house. "Yeah! Let me get something first!" Noah yelled. As I was walking to the door out to escape this place Noah came up to me and looked at me. While I pulled in closer and there I was right up to his adorable face and he leaned in closer and we kissed. Noah pulled away and hugged me and I hugged back. "This is going to be great." Noah whispered into my ear. I smiled and whispered, "Yeah sure is Noah."

We left my house and we went on from there. I grabbed my bike and Noah grabbed his. We put on our backpacks and left. The sound of our bikes on the almost 4in snow brought back the times Noah and I were just friends looking for someone and that was ourselves. Now I realised that this is the way things are supposed to go well for now. "Hey Finn it's almost daylight we should sleep now so no one finds us running away but we'll only do this until we're out of our town" Noah recommend. "Yeah sure we need that, we don't want anyone to know but we also need to get out of town fast." I said. "Okay Finn let's get out of this town tomorrow morning.
