chapter 2

After they were done beating me up. they left me there and walked away.

As i was there i tought is life even worth it?

I lay there for the next 5 minutes and finally pulled myself together and walked back to the school. 

As I walked in the school halls, my phone rang. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and saw it was Skylar I picked up the phone

" Hel.."

" where the hell have you been Malia Stephani Johnson " and this ladies and gentlemen is my bestfriend Skylar Madison Kingston

" well I fell from the stairs and i needed a minut to pull myself together Sky" yeah I lied to her but I didn't want her to worry about me " omg mal are you okay? are you hurt" she was always making sure I didn't get hurt because she knows the shit I have  been through

" well got an blue eye and my jaw is hurting but no biggie dont worry Sky" I said trying to convince her that I am okay

" okay I will see you at lunch and get to class. bye love you" she said and then hung up, she was taking it easy. normally she always wanted details.....hmmmmm weird

I walked to my class which is Biology and as I walked I kept thinking how I ended up in this mess, and why I had to be some dickheads personal punching bag

As I was drowning in my thoughts I finally got to my class I opened the door and as soon as I walked in Mr. Larsson gasped

I wonder if its because of my face or if its because there is an unicorn right behind me

" Miss Johnson what happened to your face?" owhhhh it was my face " I just fell from stair, yeah it was pretty bad so i needed some time to pull myself together" I said sheepishly

Some people laughed others gasped. Not a big suprise there i am known as the nerd so that wouldn't come as a shock

If only they knew the shit i am going through

" Okay Malia  Since you are one of my top students I will let I slide this one time" he said and smiled a little smile.  I smiled back and looked to see  which seat is empty and unfortunately the only empty was beside Vincent

Shit..... i forgot Vincent was in this class

I went and sit beside him. " I dont believe that you fell from the stairs" Vincent said as soon as I sat down " did I ask for your opinion?" I said while I looked at him while one of my brows rose up " nah but I am just stating the truth, you wanna know what I think?" he said " nah not really" I said with attitude just so that he could leave me alone " well I think that Nick, Jonathan and Wayne beat you up" he kept saying it even though i just told him i didn't wanna know.

Ugh this boy..

" well does it look like I give any fucks about your theory?" after I said that he finally shut up, I took my notebook out and began writing notes while Mr. Larsson spoke.

The class were now over and it was lunch time. I walked to the cafeteria and looked for Skylar, I saw her waving with her hands at table, looking like a crazy person. I walked over to the table  and sat down

" omg Mal you look even worse then what I imagined" oh god I knew this was coming " geez thanks for making me feel any better " I said and when I looked up I saw her studying my face " it wasn't the stairs was it Mal?" oh no code red, I repeat code red

" pffft whaaat, you know how clumsy I am Sky, I am gonna go and get my lunch see you in a bit " I said as i almost ran away from the table. Sky knows that Nick and his friends are beating me up but I am trying to convince her that they dont beat me up, even though we know that its not true.

I just dont want her to be worried about me that's all. I got to the lunch line and it was pretty long, I got a pizza, watermelon and a water.

I paid for my lunch and went to sit down, as I sat down skylar began the interrogation " Mal you gonna fucking tell me who did this to you? because I am not that stupid" I really am not in the mood for this conversation " Sky can we not do this?" as I said before i am not in the mood for this conversation " its him, isn't it?" she said getting mad

Before I could answer she already stood up and went to his table, oh no, shit is about to go down

" you sick bastard, how could you do that to her" Skylar was yelling which means all hell breaks loose, she then did something unexpected... she punched him

" that's what you get for beating up my best friend you sick bastard" after that she walked away to our table. Nick gave me a death stare, and if looks could kill i would be 6 feet under   "everybody dont listen to Skylar here, ya know she drank a lil bit too much coffee" I said just as Nick made his way over to our table

He was about to talk but I walked close to him so that I could whisper in his ears " leave her out of it Nick" I said while glaring at  him " she punched me, you know nobody gets away with punching me, its your fault you  shouldn't of told her Malia" he said glaring back at me " what can I do for you to not go over there and punch her" I asked clearly irritated with him right now " see that sounds nice to my ears, how about we discuss this later after school?" he said daring me to say no.

If I had to save her butt then I had to agree " fine after school behind the building" I said agreeing with him, he smirked and walked away.

" what was that about Mal " skylar asked while I sat down " nothing I just apologized" I said while faking a smile " WHAT!!! why would you do that Mal" she said clearly getting angry, but here is the thing i dont want her to go through what I have been through " because he didn't do anything and you went all ape shit on him Sky" I said while eating my lunch

the bell rang signaling that lunch was now over, I got my math books from my locker and walked to my math class.

As I was nearing the class my phone vibrated from my jean pocket I took to see that I got a text message.

Unknown: meet me behind the school now, or your little friend will get hurt

Ughh why now?

I walked behind the school and saw Nick leaning against the brick wall smoking a cigarette " ahhh you came I almost thought you wouldn't show up" he said walking towards me with a smirk plastered on his face " of course I would show up, if it means that you are gonna leave my best friend alone" I said glaring at him " and of course I will keep my part as long as you keep your part" I just rolled my eyes.

" now what do you want from me so that you can leave my best friend alone?" I said waiting patiently for him to answer " you know I have some frustrations I wanna let go Malia he said walking closer to me" of course it was some " frustrations" he had to let go off " okay make it quick, so that I can get away from you " he just smirked and walked closer "my pleasure" I felt like trash right at that moment
