Chapter Three: Lost

So I started this in the beginning.

Ivy got worms bad. Her daughter did, too. At 2 months old. And we still have Pixie. Ivy had side affects to them though. She had constant diarrhea. Because the worms destroyed he stomach. Her mother took her kids from her. Then the next winter, she aborted her next. Then, she started to starve herself. We were told she wouldn't live long from a friend. He told us about it messing up their stomachs. And there is nothing you can do to help. And it will eventually kill them.

Well she started to eat a little one day. Then a lot. The. The next, cold night. She was laying on the ground shivering. And she couldn't move. I gave her my final goodbye, then walked sadly back to the house. I was losing another one of my favorite goats. I will never forget that night.

At least with Lily, there is a chance she is alive. That she got another chance at life. With Ivy I need no conformation.

Ivy is gone.
