Name: Margaret Elisabeth Daw
Gender/Sexuality: Female/Straight
Age: 16
Year: 6
School: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
House: Gryffindor
Blood Status: Muggleborn
Personality: Margaret is a determined soul, and when she wants something, she will put blood, sweat, and tears into achieving it. She is quiet in general, but when she has something to say, she will waste no time in saying it. Margaret has a talent for reading people, gained from years of helping in her father's store, and she knows how to negotiate and haggle to get exactly what she wants. However, Margaret is not the type to abuse this ability, and will not push her luck. She is an observer until she deems it is necessary for her to intervene. She sees the value in silence just as much as the value in speaking. She can come across as shy or nervous, and she is. She is uncertain of her place in the Wizarding World, unsure how she fits as a Muggleborn and a woman in a world that she was so unfamiliar with.
Appearance: Margaret is petite and wiry, with a slightly smaller frame than the average person. She has chocolate brown hair that is fine and falls in loose curls to her lower back. Her eyes are a hazel in color, and though her skin is fair, it is slightly darker than normal. She is generally clothed in rather plain clothing, since her family is none too rich. Her robes are secondhand, and they are a bit shabby.
Strengths: Communications, analytics, potions.
Weaknesses: Transfiguration, divination, offensive hexes.
Preferences: Communications to fighting, cold weather to hot weather, rain to sun, quiet to loud noise, one on one interaction to large groups.
Patronus: Black Swan
Boggart: Her own drowned corpse.
Family: Mother (51), Father (59), Brother (34)
Other Important Relationships: Best Friend, Aaron (18)
Backstory: Margaret grew up helping in her father's general goods store, and there she learned her skills with people. She grew talented in relations, in making people act and react how she wanted them to for the sake of a sale. However, she did not enjoy manipulating and overstepping her boundaries. In the store, information was traded just as often as goods were. She gathered it up and used it to gain a better understanding of the circumstances around her. In her father's store, there was a lot of introduction to different languages, and she dabbled in French, Spanish, and Italian. She and Aaron grew up together, he as a neighbor and then an apprentice at her father's store. He developed romantic feelings for her when they were about fifteen. Though Margaret suspected such feelings, she tried to ignore them and gently let him down, since she did not reciprocate them.
Wand: English Oak wood with a phoenix feather core, 10" and unbending flexibility
