"Yoongi, it's okay you can go inside"

"But what if he... I don't know, hates me? I caused this."

"No you didn't. Stop blaming yourself and get your ass inside that room."

"Jimin please-"

"Yoongi. Now." Jimin raised his voice slightly and slapped Yoongi on the back softly, not wanting to hurt him.

Yoongi groaned and slid open the door. He stepped carefully into the room where Hoseok was sleeping.

"H-Hoseok" he stuttered, moving closer to him.

Hoseok's eyes opened sleepily but they shot open when he saw Yoongi in front of him. He was embarrassed by what he had done, and it was all because he got rejected by his best friend.

Hoseok closed his eyes and opened them again and greeted Yoongi. "Hi, Yoongi."

"Are you... okay?" Yoongi looked him up and down, making Hoseok even more embarrassed than he was before.

"Yeah, sort of. I'm still in here for another two weeks, they're watching to make sure I don't try anything again."

"I'm sorry" Yoongi couldn't think of anything else to say; and he was truely sorry.

"You don't need to say sorry, it's my fault."

"But I did cause this!" Yoongi slapped a hand on his mouth after he realised how loud he had spoken. "Sorry." He muttered.

Hoseok small smile was filled with sadness. "It's okay. It's not your fault. I'm the one who got upset about being rejected and my mind wasn't in the right place and I just wanted to sleep. that's why I took so many pills."

Yoongi shook his head, lips trembling. Tears fell down and his words became incoherent. "b-but I rejected wuo hosok, I made you s-sad"

Hoseok extended his arms and Yoongi fell into them. Hoseok didn't cry. He didn't want Yoongi to see him like that after the trauma he caused him to have.

"I'm sorry, I don't want you to be lonely." Yoongi said softly, his head rested on Hoseok's shoulder.

"Me neither. I'll find someone Yoongi. I'm sorry I forced myself onto you it was a dick move."

Yoongi laughed. "It was."

Jimin awkwardly stood in the doorway, watching the pair hug each other. He bit down on his lip and shifted his gaze to his feet.

Hoseok and Yoongi released and realised Jimin standing in front of them and they gestured him to come.

Jimin smiled and pulled another chair to Hoseok's bedside and took a seat.

Hoseok smiled back, slighting saddened. He knew Yoongi's feelings for Jimin, he had just hoped there was room for him to make Yoongi his. He could now see how madly in love Yoongi was with Jimin, and he could see Jimin was too.

"Thanks for coming to see me guys." Hoseok continued, shaking off his inner feelings.

"You're our best friend Hoseok, of course we would." Jimin's eyes turned into crescents as he smiled brightly at Hoseok.

Yoongi checked the time on his phone.

'7pm' it read.

"Hoseok we should go" Yoongi said, trying not to yawn.

"Okay" Hoseok smiled.

The three leaned in together for a group hug and released after a good minute.

"Bye Hoseok!" Jimin and Yoongi said in unison and they left the hospital.

Hoseok leaned back in his bed, head hitting the pillow. His eyes followed the walls and to his arms that had tubes and bandaids from the injections he had. He closed his eyes. He regretted everything. He regretted forcing himself on Yoongi, he regretted confessing, he regretted letting the rejection get to him and he regretted trying to kill himself.

"Hoseok..."

Hoseok jumped a little at the sound of his name. He opened his eyes and looked to see Taehyung standing in the doorway.

"Tae?" He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. "What're you doing here?"

"I wanted to see you again, I thought you'd be lonely." Taehyung swung his arms lightly behind his back. He was nervous.

"Thank you" Hoseok smiled. He gestured to the seat by his bedside and Taehyung smiled back at him and placed himself on the chair happily.

Silence filled the room. Taehyung had come to tell Hoseok something that was on his mind, but he couldn't find the words to say it. He choked up.

"So u-uhm" he started, stuttering on the words.

"What?"

"I know what happened."

"Oh."

"Yeah."

"Okay." Hoseok ran his fingers through his hair, starting to sweat slightly.

"Sorry, being rejected sucks doesn't it." Taehyung chuckled softly. His fingers intertwined with each other from nervousness.

"You've been rejected?"

"You saying I'm too much of a pussy to confess to anyone?" Taehyung laughed. His cheeks flushed bright pink.

"Yeah, I am" Hoseok smirked.

"Ohhhh so that's how it's gonna be" a grin was pasted on Taehyung's face. "Okay, okay." Taehyung inhaled and took Hoseok's hands in his. He stared straight into his eyes, making Hoseok blush from the intense eye contact.

"What are you-"

"I like you." Taehyung said bluntly. "I'm fucking in love with you Jung Hoseok."  He kept a straight face, yet he was blushing madly.

"I-" Hoseok hesitated. His heart was beating out of his chest and it felt as if his cheeks were on fire. He looked down, his ears red too. "G-give me some time..."

"I will give you as much time as you need" Taehyung smiled widely, lacing his fingers with Hoseok's.

Hoseok thought about it; maybe he could be happy with Taehyung.

ok tiniest rant here in fanfics Hoseok always seems to be a) an evil guy who always ends up having a bad ending  b) the one who's always left out when it comes to ships c) straight (i mean nothing wrong with being straight lmao but-) liKE WHY U LEAVING HIM OUT
