It was early morning when Jimin and Demeter woke. Jimin stretched as all the bunnies that usually slept with him ran off. He groggily went down the hill to wash up in the river, making sure to change into the pretty pink gown his mother made him.

Jimin looked around, searching for Taehyung. He said he'd come early morning.

Demeter beckoned Jimin into the forest alongside her. She handed him an apple with a ruffle of his hair. Jimin beamed at his mother," Thank you, Mama," he mumbled, biting into the fruit with a hum. He picked flowers he saw along the way, still feeling clumsy with sleep.

Demeter watched her son walk further ahead, his pink gown fluttering with the slight breeze. Flowers bloomed in the wake of Jimin's steps, an assortment of wildflowers that sprang with vibrancy. She felt her heart fill with affection.

Jimin was daydreaming when he heard a voice cry out.

"Help me!"

Jimin jumped in fright. A haggard man with torn clothing stumbled in front of him. The stranger reached out, grabbing Jimin's arm for support. The boy gasped, hands moving to reach out and help the man. Before he could act, Demeter was pushing him behind her imposing figure. The man stumbled back a few feet, eyes wide as he saw the Goddess before him.

Jimin saw the fear in the man's eyes as he realized he was in the presence of a God. The boy peeked out curiously from behind his mother.

"M-My goddess, please help me I've been lost for days," the man begged pitifully. Demeter seemed to take mercy; it wasn't the first time a human requested guidance out of the forest. It had been happening more often lately and it was making Demeter nervous.

"Very well, I will help you." She nodded for the man to follow her, shooting Jimin a look for being nosy.

"Wait here," the goddess said quietly. Jimin nodded, obediently sitting on the soft grass. Demeter smiled, watching her son weave his flowers into a crown.

The man watched Jimin with wide eyes. There had been stories of a boy who walked along the forest with Demeter, but no one ever got close enough before the goddess shooed them away. The boy was beautiful. The man tried to blink away the fatigue, not believing his eyes when flowers bloomed around the boy. He was mesmerized, watching the beautiful being look at him with twinkling eyes.

"If you do not look away, I will leave you here in this forest to starve," Demeter threatened with a low voice. The man's face drained of color as he quickly turned around and walked behind Demeter quietly. Jimin watched his mother disappear between the trees with the man, an amused smile on his face.

He was humming to himself when he heard a rustle in the trees. Jimin grew up in the forest and recognized the usual sounds so he didn't worry too much. But suddenly, the forest grew very quiet and it made Jimin uneasy, it reminded him of that night at the shore. The boy swallowed heavily, looking around for any danger. A snap of twigs made Jimin's gaze snap ahead, eyes wide as a man in a dark black robe suddenly appeared from the trees. His skin was pale and it reminded Jimin of the moon. His eyes were sharp and darker than the night sky.
