Even though it might not be intended, everyone felt it. Because the truth is, anyone can break your heart. Anything can. Your friend who you assume to have been there for you, even through the worst times of your life, can do it. Your dog that wears cute sweater vests and hasn't done anything nearly so close as snapping at you until one day it does, can do it. A favored actress. A classic movie.
Anything.
Same could be said for falling in love; you could fall in love with the eyes of a random dog you've found on the internet, scrolling through Tumblr late at night. You could fall in love with the laugh of the person who tutors you everyday. You could fall in love with the crisp autumn leaves that fall at your front door from the tree you've grown up with when you open the door to leave. Anything.
Even, even the boy who sits in the back of the class. Even the boy who smiles at you as if you were the best thing to ever grace the Earth. Even the boy who has professed his love to you after all the shit you've done to hurt him.
