Chapter 1: Unexpected Events

Rose's POV

"La dee do, I'm so excited today", I said to myself while skipping up and down headed towards the school. Yup, I came extra early today since granny said we were allowed to do anything today. Since I was early there wasn't much people yet so I decided to wait for them in the school garden where we usually all hang out. What I didn't know yet was that today was in for such a surprise.

Vicky's POV

"Ha ha ha ha ha, I'm so evil I'm so awesome", I sang to myself while clutching something in my hand which made me incredibly happy. This morning I actually succeeded in making an age changing potion. I can't wait to try it but on who? I thought to myself when all of a sudden a high pitched laugh pierced through my thoughts.

"Ugh, I so hate that girl", I spoke to myself while glaring at Rose, who was playing with her annoying pet rat. "Hmm", I thought while smirking "this could be amusing". I snuck right behind rose and placed about 5 drops of the potion on her. Luckily she didn't notice a thing and poof. "Ha, it worked", I said to myself while backing away quietly.

Rose's POV

I didn't know what happened. I was waiting for my friends to arrive, and to spend the time I was practicing my pumpkin magic and was playing with Gigi when all of a sudden I blacked out.

Hawk's POV

"Finally, I got away from those princesses", I said while jumping off my mission dragon. Granny was setting me up with some princesses. . . . . . . . .again. Since I was used to being early coming to school I went to the garden while waiting for the others to arrive. When I arrived at the garden it was strange I guess. "Hmm, looks like someone sat here", I said while noticing the leaves were all scattered and they were usually neat.

"Hi Hawk", I turned around to see Astoria, Joy and Travis entering the garden. The bushes seem to move but I figured it was just the wind. "Wait! where's Rose?", Astoria asked while looking around. She glared at Travis, "Hey, I thought you were supposed to make sure she arrived on time", she said while crossing her arms. What?

"But I did, I went to her house and I was supposed to pick her up when her mother told me she went to school early", he explained. I can't believe this, Rose going to school early, well that's a first. "Well maybe she got distracted. Did you check the shoe shop?", Joy asked "I checked, twice", he replied. Astoria was about to say something when all of a sudden Gigi suddenly appeared.

Astoria's POV

"Ugh, where is that girl?", I thought angrily. I was about to retort something to Travis when Rose's pet Gigi appeared suddenly. He saw us and quickly ran to us. "Gigi where's Rose?", Hawk asked. He began rapidly squeaking and making noises. Rose was the only one who could understand him so we didn't exactly understand him.

When he realized that he pointed towards the bushes that seemed to be moving. Hawk was the first one to approach the bushes and when he pushed it apart we was surprised at what we saw.
