Chapter 5: Earth

"Wow, this castle is so huge!"

"Not to mention there's many people here."

Travis and Rose laughed.

"Um guys," Rose said while laughing. "This is not a castle. It's a mall you know where people go to buy things and go shopping. As you can see there are no thrones here."

The others looked around and had sheepish looks on their faces.

"Ohhhhhhhh."

"I guess we need to get accustomed to this place." Astoria said while glancing at a few shops as they continued to walk.

"Eeeek!"

The others turned to why Joy screamed. Rose gave her friend a confused look.

"What's the matter Joy?"

Joy pointed to a mannequin at the front of a clothes shop with her hand in the air like it was waving. 

"That person there is waving at me and it's so creepy. Maybe it's a villain!"

Astoria looked at it curiously while Hawk stepped right in front of his friends, his hands on his pocket.

"Don't worry guys," he said bravely. "I'll protect you!"

He got out his wand and was about to say 'Snow Magic!' when Travis clamped his hand on his mouth, making Hawk's words sound muffled. A few people looked at them curiously while Rose gave them a small smile. Astoria naturally, took care of the problem.

"Oh don't mind them, they're persons born with dreadful with disabilities. They have an impeccable sickness in the brain that makes them act like a bunch of little kids so please don't mind them." A few people looked at Travis and Hawk mournfully and said their condolences while the two glared at Astoria.

Once nobody was bothering them again, Travis removed his hand from Hawk's mouth and glared at Astoria who looked confused.

"What?"

"You know truthfully that me and Hawk are in a perfectly fine condition."

Astoria shrugged.

"I know, it was the only thing that came into my mind to think for an excuse for the two of you."

Hawk pocketed his wand.

"You know, I was perfectly fine in defending you guys from the villain," he looked around. "And why aren't people screaming and shouting while running for their lives when there's a villain, over there." he said while pointing to the mannequin earlier.

"Oh that," Rose said understanding. "You see Hawk, that's really not a villain. It's not even a human or a living thing. It's called a mannequin. People owning shops, specifically, clothes shops tend to have mannequins display their products so more people can buy from them. Like an advertisement. It's not really a villain though."

Hawk looked at Rose sheepishly, embarrassed about his actions.

"He he, I guess Earth is really different from the Fairytale Land."

Rose giggled.

"Well, it's really not that different. You see we also have restaurants, markets, shoe stores, bookstores-"

Astoria interrupted Rose.

"Wait! Did you just say bookstore?" Rose immediately regretted not paying attention to her words but it was too late. Astoria had heard everything.

"Yes, we also have bookstores here." Astoria's eyes gleamed as she clapped her hands in an exciting manner.

"Wonderful, I suppose we could go there right?" She didn't bother to receive a reply from Rose as she hooked arms the girl.
