I know I said I'd update like a few days ago but I've been super busy with different things. I apologise for the late update. I'll get some in on both stories in the next few days. A few of days ago, I went to Put-in-Bay which is on Lake Erie so I thought I'd do a one shot of Zosia going to visit there. Enjoy.

Ollie, Zosia and their 5 year old daughter, Evie, were walking down the road making their way towards the ferry to take them from mainland Ohio to an village called Put-in-Bay which is on an island called South Bass Island which is located on Lake Erie.

Zosia had been bugging Ollie about visiting there ever since they had moved to Ohio a few months previous. Both Ollie and Zosia had gotten jobs as consultants on the CT ward in a new hospital that had just opened up.

Zosia POV

I couldn't believe we are actually going to Put-in-Bay. I have been annoying Ollie for weeks to go and now the day is finally here.

"Come on, the ferry is about to leave. We are going to miss it" Evie pipes up.

"Don't panic sweetie, it doesn't leave for another 10 minutes" I reassure her.

No one POV

The journey across took around 15 minutes and it was very breezy. It was going very well until Ollie decided to throw up all over the side, much to other passengers liking. Luckily, it happened just as the ferry was approaching the island.

The family got off the boat and made their way up the steep hill to go hire a golf cart to get around the island. Zosia had read that that was the easiest way of getting around.

The first thing that they done was go get some lunch at the restaurant that was situated on the harbour. It was a beach themed restaurant.

Zosia ordered a seafood platter, Ollie a burger and Evie got chicken tenders. They were eating their food when the waiter came over to chat and pointed out snakes that were swimming about the water. Zosia started to cry as she had the biggest fear of snakes. The waiter could see this and continued to speak about them which made Zosia quite mad.

Once they finished their food, they got back on their golf cart and made their way round the island. Evie saw a play park and badly wanted to go play.

"Not now, we can come back once we have explored the island" Zosia says to her. Evie didn't like this and started to throw a tantrum.

"Evie, NO. Continue the way you're acting and you won't get to go at all" Ollie took charge. Evie quietened down after Ollie shouted at her.

They drove around the island and found nothing but trees, houses and a couple of winery's. Zosia had looked up and seen that there was a small beach but when they found it they saw that it had been made private.

They went back to where the park was and let Evie play there for a while. Ollie decided to go and get the 3 of them ice cream; vanilla for Zosia, chocolate for Evie and coffee for himself. After an hour or so at the park they got back on their golf cart and went one last drive around the island.

About 10 minutes later, they came across a stoney beach and decided to stop for a bit. They all took their shoes off and went and stood in the water, only to stay that they have been in Lake Erie.

Zosia went and sat on a rock and watched Ollie show Evie how to skim stones. She couldn't help but smile at her family in front of her.

They made their way back to the ferry as it was getting dark. Zosia had a smile on her face that no one could wipe off.

"Thank you so much for bringing me here Ollie, it's been such an amazing day".

"I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was so fun and beautiful".

"I love you Ollie"

"I love you too".

I didn't know how to end it haha but this basically was my day at Put-in-Bay. It is a really beautiful island. Sorry again for not updating. It's not the best one shot cause I can't write in third person. It took me ages to write this as I have my cousin's dog sitting on top of me haha. Hope you enjoy reading it xxx
