This poem is dedicated to my grandpa! He passed away in 2008 and I wasn't that close to him but i wanted to be. We lived in Alberta while he lived in Manitoba, we had moved back to Manitoba a year before he passed away. I was hoping with the years we would have had together i would have gotten to know him! But sadly that didn't happen!
So i hope you guys enjoy this.....

Forever Shall your spirit roam, forever shall you own, the key to my heart,
For you my heart will stay unlocked, not once have you had to knock,
You see through me, and me you see,
For i'm your open book.
A smile and a tear, for everyone word i hear(d) you say
But for right now I say, you my horse, and I your knight.
For right now I fright, I might not see my horse shine so bright at night.
You bring the light to the day, and to the day you bring the warmth
to my delight I say
'You my horse and I your knight'.
