Cinderella

Cinderella swept the floors,
Washed the clothes and cleaned the doors
From early morning until late.
Of her step-mom she was afraid.

Every evening she was so tired
Thinking of her step-sis who she admired
For being invited to the prince's ball
And looking for the perfect gown at the mall.

Although Cinderella wasn't invited
"I want to go there, too!", she decided.
So Cinderella made her own dress
But what about the hair- it was a mess!

Oh no, she didn't know what to do,
Her little mice were clueless, too.
While Cinderella had to fight
It was nearly midnight.

So Cinderella was too late
"I'll never see the prince!", she was afraid.
Suddenly her step-sis came home
She cried: "The prince was so old! I had to dance on my own!"
