Lillith lived in Hallow Grounds in the west end of the Flaming Forest. It was a large abandoned mansion from the First Era of the rebellion when a war had raged between mystics. Particularly between the Vampyr & the Lycan. A drawn out, boring, repetitive battle. A trail led to its front stoop, yet very few knew of the winding dusty road. It was usually covered with dense layers of fallen leaves. All of which were vibrant hues of red, orange, gold, & even a dark purple. Around dusk & dawn, fog crept down from the mountains into the forest. It was thick enough to cover paths. It was easy to get lost in its winding labyrinth of twists & turns when the forest floor was concealed. Many had gone mad in these woods turning in circles trying to find their way out. Many became victims of their own insanity or the victims of hungry predators. In the wilds of the Flaming Forest, the Golden Rule was viewed as more of a guideline & often broken. But hidden amongst the thick trees, snaking vines, & roaring waterfalls, no one was the wiser. None except Lillith.
Hallow Grounds had an expanse of rooms. More than Lillith would ever need. She lived alone. It was safer that way. It saved her from having to deal with the spoils of war, the revenge of enemies, & herself. The North tower facing the forest road is where she chose to make her den. It was the best focal point to be on the lookout for intruders. There were no other paths to Hallow Grounds unless you ventured out into the forest to try & navigate your way around the trees. Few had the skills or bravery to try.
Lillith woke to the sunlight gently falling behind the trees. She had been asleep for three days straight. She could hear Saber, her familiar wolf, downstairs gnawing on a fresh kill. The smell of the blood hit her nose causing her mouth to water. She hadn't fed in some time. As Lillith stretched in bed, she let the last bit of light cascade over her bare flesh. Her skin was pale & had a few scars on it. After admiring her battle scars, Lillith got out of bed & headed down to the first floor. Skol, her raven familiar, landed on her bare shoulder as she descended the stairs. Once at the bottom, Lillith laid out a slab of meat for Skol to peck at. The black bird cawed happily & sat on his perch to eat his meal. Lillith pulled a little cup of blood from the ice box & quickly drank it. It was enough to give her the energy she needed, though it was awful cold. Nothing compared to the sensation & taste of fresh warm blood.
On her way out of her kitchen, Lillith stopped to pat Saber on the head. He gingerly wagged his tail as he shook loose a piece of meat. Lillith went the the bathroom to freshen up. She turned on the hot water in the shower & stood under the spray. Lillith's mind began to wander as the felt the water relax her stiff muscles. Then, Lillith thought of something she hadn't in a long time. She thought about Cardalla. Cardalla had been her lover for many moons. Cardalla was a Lycan. Lillith had loved the way her earth brown skin looked beside her own moon kissed flesh. Her wild & untamed hair reflected her nature. She was carefree, fun, & oh so very sexy.
Lillith remembered how her golden eyes had looked down at her full of ecstasy as Lillith buried her face between Cardella's thighs. Lillith had made her little wolf howl with pleasure & shake with the fury of the change. In turn, Cardalla had warmed Lillith's cool skin, & quenched a thirst that burned inside her. It had been perfect. They had their ups & downs, but things were wonderful. Then Cardalla disappeared. One day Lillith came back from a job & Hallow Ground was empty. No note, no signs of any issue, just sound of silence. Lillith had tried to track her down, but she couldn't find Cardalla's scent anywhere. She even went so far as to question the Lycans in the brothels. It had led to fights. At the end of it, no one knew where Cardalla was. So Lillith retreated back to her manor & remained for months.
Trying to push the memories of her sudden abandonment out of her mind, Lillith instead focused on the memory of how Cardalla had tasted on her tongue. She had been soft with mocha colored lips. Lillith loved lapping at her glistening folds before she honed in on her clit. The way Cardalla had arched her back was an amazing sight to see while beneath her. Lillith would gently suck on Cardalla as she run her hands up to tug her nipples. She became a puddle as Lillith took her closer to the edge, begging her to not stop. Lillith remembered her shaking against her mouth as the taste of her flowed against her tongue. She had tasted of deep earthy woods, a canine musk, & summer winds. Lillith could never get enough of her taste & would make Cardalla release her elixir over & over again until she was begging her to stop.
Lillith found herself feeling a need she hadn't felt in a long time. Her skin became more sensitive & she found herself hurrying to get clean. After her shower, Lillith went to her room & opened her wardrobe. She studied her clothes to find the perfect thing. She decided on a purple mesh shirt over her black lace bra & black leather pants with her boots. Lillith grabbed her coat & travel bag as she headed downstairs. Saber gave her an inquisitive look. "I'm going out. I think I deserve a night to indulge. Guard the house Saber, Skol, keep an eye out. Come find me if there is trouble." The crow cawed & the wolf nodded silently as Lillith left.
She headed towards the stable out back where her steed Chaos was kept. He had been her horse since her "birth" so to speak. "Hello old friend," she said to the alert horse, "Shall we go into town?" Chaos whinnied & trotted out so that Lillith could mount him. She swung up unto his saddle & with a kick of her heel, he was off through the fog. The moon was full as Lillith & Chaos galloped through the winding trail. Not that Chaos needed the light. He knew this forest by heart. Even off the paths, he could always make his way back to the trail. The wind whipped past Lillith as her raven hair flew behind her. It wasn't long before they reached the main road.
A few moments later, they had reached the town. It was a lively night. All the mystics were out thanks to the moon. Lillith dismounted Chaos & turned to her friend. She quietly muttered under her breathe & watched as he shifted from a horse to a man. "I think you have earned a night of your own, my friend," she said smiling warmly at him. Upon seeing her fangs, Chaos chuckled as he looked over to his right. There was a group of human mares & he could smell them from where he was. "You have all night, Chaos, just make sure they can still walk after you are done." With that, Lillith turned her attention to the brothel that was a block down the road. She & Chaos split ways at the beginning of town. As Lillith headed into the brothel she heard the mares giggle. With a smirk, she went inside.
