"Do you remember the day we met?" She ask me. I look at her confused, has my best and only friend lost her mind?

¨ You saved me?¨"She continue, the wind throwing her red/brown hair forward hiding her black/blue eyes.

¨ How could I forget? It still seems like yesterday when it happened.¨ I respond.

Flashback...

I walked down the street, it is sunset, but I don't care. As I am walking I hear a scream.

¨Help! Someone plea...¨ the voice stopped.

I decide to find the owner of the voice. So I run to where I think the voice is coming from. I stop at the entrance of the abandoned street. Someone has a girl raised off the ground, hand over her mouth, and pressed her to the wall. I go to the nearby dumpster to grab supplies. I manage to find three ping pong balls and aluminum foil. I grab my pocket knife and make a hole in one of the ping pong balls and cut the others into small pieces and put them in the hole. I glance up to see that the man has a knife held to her. I quickly put my pencil in the hole and wrap it all in aluminum foil, then I take out the pencil and grab my lighter from my pocket. I light the lighter and hold it under the homemade smoke bomb. It starts to smoke and I throw it next to him.

I wait a little to attack. The smoke get thicker and the man drops the girl on the ground. I launch forward, I grab the girl, and ran before the man could see us, I get her to safety and go back to the man. I knock him unconscious and kick his knife away, I tie him up with some old rope I find. The I go back to where I left the girl and found out her name is Shadow. I give her my name, Raven, and leave.

End of flashback...

She never really left my side after that. I didn't mind much after she signed the contract. The contract said in summary that I was not at fault if she got hurt, killed, or sent to the hospital.

"You helped me and so, no matter what you say, I'm going to help you catch your mother's murderer. You know I'm a great hacker and good at escape plans, so it's only logical." Shadow voiced.

"She has a point and there is no real point to argue with her." I thought, shivering under my red hoodie and black skinny jeans.

"Fine." I sigh.

The wind blow my black/purple hair back, exposing my hazel green eyes and pale skin.

"Let the revenge game begin."
