Town under siege

Prologue

In the serene forest town of Brooksville, Alaska it was your everyday regular day as every day.  

At Brooksville military high school the bell rang for the last time of the school year as the last day of school ends. 

Everybody was eager for summer to come, many have plans of travel and going places. Others prefer to stay at home and play video games or bond with their friends. 

As Cadet Capt. Nolan Brooks came out of the doors. He's looking forward to meeting up with his longtime sweetheart Sarah Adams. They've been together even though Nolan went to military school. 

But he is also looking forward to visit his father. His father is the commander of the Infantry brigade at fort Knox near Brooksville. They are tasked to hide a highly classified research facility intended to do research on new innovations in the military. 

He has always wondered to see what they are hiding in there.  

"Hey Nolan let's go, school bus waits for no one even for the cadet commander you know" said cadet James Bryans, His longtime friend and ally. 

"Alright then let's go" answered Nolan.  

As they went down the bus Nolan asked James, "Hey James, want to come over tonight?"  

"Sorry bro, gotta call from the principal, he wants me to do some radar duty as my punishment for the accidental cafeteria war I DID'NT start today" answered James. 

"alright see you later then" said Nolan. 

As Nolan entered his room upstairs he took his cell and dialed a number. 

*ring* 

"Hello? Nolan is this you?" answered the voice on the other line. 

"Hey Sarah, yeah it's me, how are you?" answered Nolan. 

"I'm fine I'm so glad to hear you again?" answered Sarah. 

"So do you wanna go out tonight? There's a good movie tonight" asked Nolan. 

"Sure, just pick me up at 7" answered Sarah excitedly on the phone. 

"alright see you at 7" answered Nolan. 

With that he put down his cell and prepared for his date tonight. 

Meanwhile... 

James is putting on his camouflage attire for his penalty duty tonight on the radar station. His shift is the night shift with a Lt. Johnson. 

"alright, just some finishing touches on the uniform and all systems are go" said James.  

Just then he saw his parents hurrying to get dressed in their best attire, suit and tie, and dress. 

"Whoa you guys look fancy, where's the funeral?" asked James. 

"We're going to the mayor's house tonight, everyone in Brooksville is invited" answered his dad. 

"alright, I'll be at radar duty tonight so don't wait up guys" said James. 

"Take care honey" said his mom. As James shut the door behind him. 

Chapter 1 

The Storm Rising

On the far reaches of the Pacific ocean approximately 200 miles from the coast of Alaska, a mysterious vessel seems to have risen from under the ocean. 

It was a submarine carrier, capable of handling aircraft while also diving for at least 150 meters.  

Just then more carriers rose up behind the first from the depths of the ocean.
