--Nina's pov--
School had just ended , and me and my best friend were walking home.
"Nina, make sure you come to my house at 7pm , then we can go shopping and look for a present for Kylie (their other best friend ) .
"I'll try my best " replied Nina . Caitlin said bye to Nina and walked towards her house ... Nina had always dreaded to go home . She didn't have the guts to tell Caitlin what the matter really was when Caitlin used to see Nina quite upset ,Nina just used to say ''I've just got a headache ,don't worry about it '' . But the real truth was that Nina's mum used to beat her up , every night Nina's mum (Anne) used to come home fully drunk and then she used to beat Nina up and swear at her and make her do everything !
