Storms POV

Everyone was starting to leave but Ian had started talking to Daniel again, so I went upstairs to get changed. I just put on some dark gray jeans and a strappy top. I came back down and all seemed quiet again, I walked into the kitchen thinking everyone must have left but to my surprise Daniel was sitting at my island table in the kitchen drinking coffee.
"You said I could help myself." and for the first time, I saw his smile. He had a beautiful smile, I smiled back and got a glass of water. "At least now I know what you do for a living" he said, I laughed, and shook my head.
"I wish that was my fulltime job. I'm actually a PA for a music business company. I never thought I'd end up doing what I studied for but I guess it worked out okay. At least it got me this place." I looked around the apartment and for the first time in a long time, remembered why I liked being with someone, it made it much less lonely. "Do you have your own place?" I asked him.
"Yeah, I have a house a couple of hours away from here." he looked at the time on his phone and pondered. He was still very blunt and to the point but I guess that's the way he is. "Do you want to go out and get some food somewhere?" I nodded and went to get my leather jacket and bag. I put on my biker boots and we headed out.

We were cruising in Daniels more up to date Jeep Wrangler which was black with big hefty wheels although, it wasn't as loud as i thought it would be. I loved it! 4x4's were my favourite type of cars except for Lamborghini's of course. We continued to talk, mainly about cars at this point until we reached our destination. I knew I was way to makeup'd up to be going to a casual bar/restaurant but it didn't matter, I met my match standing next to Daniel. I looked like a typical overly done up, tattooed biker chick while he looked like an overly attractive, tattooed, hairy guy, I felt kinda good being here with him.
It took us about 30 minutes to get here and I'd never been to this side of town before. This was heading out towards the country, which I didn't mind. Change of scenery at last. We walked in and all eyes were on us. I wasn't sure who the random strangers were staring at more. We went to the bar and got a pint.
"Go sit down at one of the tables." It wasn't a question, or even a suggestion. It was an order. I wasn't sure how to feel, I felt like he was my father and I was some stupid little girl, but I liked the way he said it, it was like he owned me. I just looked him in the eye and then walked over to a booth. He was talking to someone at the bar, they were talking quietly but harshly. I couldn't hear them but I knew something was wrong. I let it pass.
"Sorry about that", he sat down facing me. "Business." And nothing more was said. He looked angry. I wanted to ask if he was okay but I knew he wouldn't take it kindly as men don't like to be caught out on having a reaction to something that's personal, it was definitely something personal.
We sat and ate, we also talked and drank. We continued to drink after the meal. It was early evening and it was interesting that we hadn't talked about ourselves at all. We spoke about what we believed in, the world and the meaning of life. Evolution, theories, what will be and what could be in the end. I had never been able to sit and talk about such curious things before with a stranger. As we talked he just watched me closely, so as the afternoon turned into evening, I tried not to show any signs of being tipsy; because I was. At 7oclock I was ready to go home but I didn't even need to say.
"I'll take you back now, you must be tired." Daniel said this with the most sincere voice and he helped me out of the booth, put his arm around my shoulder and we walked to the car. When he did this my only reaction was to put mine around his waist.
Back at my house we were sitting in the lounge, I was very tired and Daniel kept saying he would leave but I insisted he stayed if he wanted to and he agreed he wanted to.
"This might sound odd. I like your company and don't want you to go if you don't want to but do you mind if we go lay on my bed in my room? My back gets really bad on this sofa." He nodded and he followed me up to my room. My room was clean thank goodness but I was getting so tired I didn't even care. I went into my bathroom and took my makeup off which was odd I was doing this while this man, almost still a stranger was just chilling on my bed watching me,
"Do you mind not wearing makeup around me?" He asked
"I probably would if it was the morning, but right now I'm so tired I don't even care." I did the weakest laugh ever, took my jeans off and got into bed. He was laying on top of the cover on his side just watching me get settled. "Is this weird to you?" I asked him, looking up into his eyes.
"Well, it doesn't happen everyday but I can run with it." He sort of smiled. I could feel my eyes slowly shutting
"You can go you know, as long as you don't mind letting yourself out.." I was going to fall asleep no matter what but whatever. This was weird but so nice at the same time. Let's hope he's not a murderer.
"I should probably go, but.., I don't want to." I could feel Daniel moving closer to me and he laid flat on his back instead of on his side. I took this as my chance. I moved slightly closer even though he was still on top of the duvet and rested my head on his chest while putting my arm over him.
Cuddles with an attractive stranger, I must definitely be doing something right. He moved his arm around me and that was it. Blackness.
