I got home after picking the kids up and calling Ryland so he can come over, as I walk into the house I hear a noise from the kitchen "Ryland? hello??" I scream walking into the kitchen. I gasp as I see him, a tall, dark-haired, green-eyed man standing in front of me "d...dad?" tears prick my eyes as I look at him "darling how are you?" I fold my arms as my blood starts boiling "don't you dare use that 'how are you' card on you sick basterd" I walk out of the kitchen and take the kids to our next door neighbors they have been close family friends as I knock on the door I look back at the house when someone answers the door I smile as I see Andy the 15-year-old boy middle child of 3 Reyn their younger sister and Dylan the oldest of 19, "hey Sara" smiling I ask to come in he simply nodes and moves over, I walk into his living room where I see Gregg  and Sandra the kids mom and basically my second mom "hey guys can you watch the kids? there's an emergency I need to take care of" Sandra smiles sweetly "of course sweetie you don't have to ask" suddenly I was pulled down into the amazing Dylan's lap "hey princess" he says while smirking as me Dylan was my first kiss, my first real relationship and my first time... we have history but we decided to stay friends instead ... it hurt but still we are amazing friends I tell him everything probably more than Ryland "Dylan??" I was surprised I haven't seen him in forever since he went off to college "in the flesh , how are you cutie" smiling I try to get up but he has his hands pressed against my waist stopping me "I'm fine!! can I go now" I give him a fake pouty face "you know you love it" I giggle and look at him "nah not really" he looked at me not convinced "ya right" I heard someone come into the room "Dylan let her go! she needs to get home" I hear Andy say I smile " actually can I steal you Dylan I need some help" he just smirked at me "ya sure babe" I stand up dragging him along with me

when we get to my house, my dads not there anymore I turn around and look at Dylan confused "what's wrong sweetheart" he looked genuinely concerned I break out into sobs he quickly grabbed me and hugged me tight letting me cry into his chest, we ended up lying on the couch watching movies "please never leave" he smiles sadly at me " I don't plan on it princess"  my eyelids started feeling heavy as I drift off on Dylan's lap.

I wake up to the light from the shutters in my eyes I look up to see Dylan staring at me with a sad look in his eyes "are you okay babe?" he looked surprised "oh no sweetie! can I come to school with you I'm sure they wont mind! they love me there" I smile at him "sure!! I've missed you there anyway, just let me go change" I stand up and run to my room to change, I put on blue skinny jeans and a black and white crop top with black converse, I walk downstairs to see Dylan dressed in a black t-shirt and blue skinny jeans "hey" he looks up and me and smirks "Wow someone looks sexy this morning" I smile at him grabbing my keys "lets go lover~boy"

when I got to school Ryland came up to me confused "hey Sara why is he here" he said in a joking tone towards Dylan who was walking with his arm around my shoulder I casually held his hand, "he's here to protect me... something happened yesterday and I feel better with him here" I smiled as he kissed the top of my head lightly "hey bud I've missed you how have you been shyland? " I giggled remembering Ryland's nickname from junior year "I'm not so much shyland anymore but I'm good dude we should hang sometime, I'm always at Sara's house anyway" Dylan smirked "so... Sara found a new sex pal I see.. I've been replaced?" hearing him say that made me blush red "No! you could never be replaced, Rylands just my best friend" Ryland comes over and puts a arm around my other shoulder as we start skipping to math class.   I see the twins skipping in front of us like always .. they were the cutes siblings together "Hey Sweetie!" I hear Dylan say from right next to me, he and Maya are like brother and sister while I and he are more of... a not official couple. Maya looks behind her as her eyes go wide she runs over and hugs Dylan he uses his free hand to hug back not breaking the bond me and him have together "DyDy when did you get kicked out of college?" she giggled "awe May you think so low of me its sad." she smiled at him "so Sara why'd you bring this dork to school with you? to protect you from the math teacher your totally crushing on?" she giggled while i blushed "of course not... i have detention for the next week with him anyway i just want this guy with me" he smirks at me "i will be here for the next month" i look at him confused "really??" Maya jumps up and down excited " I have missed you DyDy"I smile at them "let's get to class guys" Maya goes and joins her twin skipping along again

Math class... Yay the worst class ever. I walk in the room with Dylan we sit at the front where Mr. sealer assigned me as Dylan sits right next to me.  Mr. sealer looks over at Dylan suspictiously "excuse me but your name is?" dylan smiled "I'm Dylan Stealey" Mr. Sealer look over at our hands that are enlocked together as I put my headphones in "sorry but your not part of the attendance may I ask you to leave"I look up and give Mr. sealer a death stear while putting a water bottle on my desk he looks at it chuckling "Oh Just a reminder Sara detention the rest of the week for the water Insident yesterday evening" i rolled my eyes as maya looks at me confused "what water bottle insident?" maya and dylan both say at the same time Mr. sealer kindly answers for me "yesterday Sara here nicely poured a water bottle on my head because I tried to get her to listen to the rules" Dylan broke down laughing as maya looked at me with 'your so into him' eyes I just shrugged and mouthed 'ya I am' to her which made her squeal loudly

at the end of math Mr. Sealer asked me to stay after because I've been backtalking and disrespecting him all throught class. So when the bell rang me and Dylan stayed seated "so Sara you didn't change your actions at all today, your a smart girl really Sara you just need a push it seems" him saying that made my heart flip... wait what do I hate him... Right? "ya whatever" he looked at me suprised "nothings gonna change if you keep acting this way.. I actually care about you Sara" I smiled "can I just go?" he nodded I got up and basically ran out of the room.
