Chapter 1

"Good morning babe." Ashley turned to  inspect the source of the sound. Her handsome boyfriend Damon stared at her with his smoldering blue eyes. "Good morning" Ashley greeted him as she searched for his shirt on the floor. Her clothes scattered all over his bedroom. She went to the kitchen and made them some coffee, changed quickly and headed out to work at the Evan's company; Damon's parents.
The Evans owned a steel factor which was one of the most successful business in New York.Where Ashley would work from 8 to 2 as Mr. Evans secertary. Ashley never imagined she would end up a secretary , Ashley was the valedictorian of her class, and was thought to have the most potential from all her peers, she anticipated she would  be a journalist work in some newspaper and one day she would work at Vogue or Elle magazine, but then she met Damon.

Damon walked through the doors of the law firm working as an attorney defending celebrities DUI cases and other petty misdemeanors, but the cash was good it allowed him to live a life of luxury with his girlfriend Ashley. While Damon walked through the hallway he could hear the giggles of the young girls at the firm and the long gazes trailing him, which he would reply to with a smug smile. He was the main asset of William and Steven firm bringing in more cash than any other lawyer at the firm. Some say it's his looks that got him where he was now, others say he is a hardworker. The truth is Damon is a lying, deceiving manipulative snake. He slept his way up the firms ranks ,in less than a year Damon became one the head lawyers in the firm. Ashley on the other hand didn't know this even though Ashley was very clever , Damon was able to control her using his captivating looks. Damon entered his office greeting him their was his secretary Jennifer. Jennifer and Damon were at each other's throat most of the work time. That day 21 Jan,2013 Damon entered the office Jennifer slammed her lips onto his and they began making out on the table. Little did he know that Ashley was going to visit him to celebrate their anniversary. She excused  herself from work and went to pick up his gift, a new Rolex. As she skipped happily waiting to embrace her boyfriend. She opened the office door to see the most shocking event of her life, she saw her boyfriends tongue under another girls throat. Ashley lost all her temper and yelled. "What the hell!" She threw the gift on Damon's face and stormed off. Damon quickly buttoned up his shirt running after her "Ashley wait, it wasn't my fault" he grabbed her arm and turned her head to look at his face, where a bruise was starting to form from the watch "she's obsessed with me , she entered my office and started kissing me" Ashley stared back at him with the are-you-serious look. His bullshit went right through her as she slapped his right cheek with all the strength she had. "WE ARE OVER!" She ran into a taxi , the driver asked to where. She looked on straight "Damon's." She entered the apartment and started wrecking the entire place first she started in the living room breaking his paintings and plates, even his vintage vase that he was so proud of, next Ashley entered the bedroom and started throwing the frames around and as the glass frames shattered so did her heart. She fell to her knees looking at the photo of their first date she ripped the photo and threw the fragments into the roof as they fell like party-confetti Ashley started weeping. After that Ashely decide to cut Damon out of her life she quit her job back at the Evans ,and moved into her best-friend Gina's apartment.
