I watch your eyes flick from one side to another
They never land me
But that's alright

I close my eyes and think of you
My hearts thuds
My soul calls for you
My eyes linger on your frazzled hair
I want to touch it
I want to feel the gentle strands
against my bare hand
Reaching out I hold my breath
Your eyes laugh
They know I long for your affection
But they do not reciprocate
I can't stop loving you
I feel happy, sad and crazy all at once
I  want to scream and laugh
You remain unaware of me
Of my feelings
Of my love for you alone
So why is it that when our hands touch
You pull away and hide
Why can't you tell me
Why can't I speak
Let's just laugh
It doesn't matter if you don't care for me
It never did
As long as you're here with me
