It was a sunny June afternoon in Ottawa. Meanwhile, in the beautiful and sophisticated Parliament Building, Justin Trudeau was sitting in his office doing nothing, despite the shocking amount of documents and proposals from his senators scattered on his desk. He was gazing at the azure sky decorated with few pigeons overhead. It reminds him of when Emmanuel Macron, the newly elected French president met him for the first time in Taormina.
"Mr Prime Minister, there's a call from the President of France. He's on line 02." His secretary called him, which brought him back to reality. "OK. Will be answering ASAP." He replied to her calmly, however, from his face, everyone could tell that he was actually excited for it, just like a teenage girl who is waiting for her crush to notice her.
"Bonjour?" Justin dialed in the number on his mobile phone and answered it playfully. "Ah, monsieur le Premiere Ministre. It's absolutely great to hear from you in a while--" "Non, non, non... Manu, you don't need to talk like this every time. There's only you and me right, mon amour?" Macron, on the other side, felt eased when he heard his Canadian lover's soothing voice.
"Well, I was afraid that Sophie might be in the room so... Yeah. In fact, I want to ask you if we could both take a short break from work and I'll take you around for a vacation in Paris, I guess?" The Frenchman was sitting in his office, also gazing up that vast blue sky. "Sure, why not? I'll see you at twelve tomorrow in the airport. Can't wait." Justin answered, and started to pull out his suitcase from a corner of his office.
