RUHI'S POV

I woke up with a constant frown on my face which was stuck there since the incident between me and Nikhil that followed last night after his encounter with Anaita Di. His... his another face came in front of me. He was destructive ,I never knew that he has hidden so much anger and rage within him . I was afraid of him though he didn't harm me but.....

Flashback

After nikhil exited from the party last night, I rushed towards Anaita Di. Raksh Jiju was consoling her, he said that I should go behind Nikhil because he needed me more, I rushed towards our room literally banging people on my way. I reached our room and entered it to see the most horrid scene I have ever seen. Nikhil was standing in our room. Slot of articles of the room were already broken. The whole living room of the suite was already in bits and pieces. Not a single thing was intact and there was nikhil throwing all the glasses of the bar table in his unconquerable rage. His red eyes were scaring my wits and sending shivers down my spine.

Nikhil was in another world where he could neither see me standing there nor can he realise the consequences of his insatiable anger, which will do nothing good to him other than worsening his condition. I need to stop him or he will go mad perhaps whatever I just need to stop him. So coming out of my shock I shouted his name....
Nikhil, Nikhil stop, what are you doing? I said and reached near him to stop him but he was out of control and turned a blind eye towards me, due to his rage and me trying to stop him he was so much engrossed in his fury that he by mistake pushed me and I stumbled upon my feet and hit my feet in a broken glass jar . A piece of glass penetrated in my ankle and it started bleeding ,an involuntary scream if pain escapes my mouth which caught nikhils attention. He saw me and then guilt was clear in his eyes which I didn't want .He rushed towards me and in one moment I was scooped up in his arms and was on the bed. He sat beside me and examined my injured foot.

In his anger he started scolding me saying that " Who told you to come near me Ruhi, can't you see that a devil possessed me at that moment, what if I had hurt you more, why do t you freaking think before doing something. " but do you think that I was hearing his scoldings, nahh ,I was quite busy observing my husband's worried face. He did the first aid and then asked me to rest but I don't know what problem I have that I have to open this mouth of mine and so I did
" Nikhil what happened, why are you behaving like this, and why did you broke all the things. " It was only few microseconds after I asked the question that nikhil turned back, bended to my face level and said " I don't like to repeat it Ruhi, but I have already for the nth time that YOU are NO ONE to interfere in my business, and don't you dare ask any questions to me, you were very fond of marrying a RICH guy like me NOW bear with me, understood......
I could not respond because blood shot red eyes and heart stabbing words scared my wits, I was staring at him,my lips quivering with pain and fear when he suddenly shouted
UNDERSTOOD , and shook me up from my elbows, I was scared, frightened that I found my words list somewhere in the depth of my throat, I felt helpless and week, but nonetheless I nodded my head positively and he left me there In the room and went, god knows where but I was not bothered about that, my mind was still stuck in those blood shot red eyes I saw today which once held his innocence and now only hatred and anger, that heart which once was filled with love and now has scars of betrayal on it. That boy who was once the life of the gathering but who now is a man of silences, with lots and lots suppressed inside him, which he needs to take out.
