Hello, my name is Emily. I go to Howard's High School and I'm in 10th grade. I am about to turn 16 in July 2. I am ignored at my school so that is why I always wear a big sweater with a hoodie that covers my face that you can only see my mouth. A lot of girls always wear makeup and shorts that are really short and wear short dresses and crop tops. I don't wear makeup only a little bit of eyeliner and just wear sweats and one colored shirt. My teachers always get mad because they tell me to take off my hoodie but I never do, so they don't bother to tell me anymore. When we get assignments to do with partners, everybody tries to find a partner as soon as they can because there is always 1 person to that is left and ends up being my partner. Monday morning, my alarm is ringing and I wake up to turn it off. "Sweetheart, wake up already breakfast is ready" my mom was saying from downstairs. "I'm gona take a shower mom!" I had to yell because she turned on the blender. When I finished taking a quick shower, my phone rang. It was my best friend Evelyn, "Hey I am going to pick you up today at your house so get ready I will be there in 15 minutes." she said and hung up before I could even say okay. I got ready and then I went downstairs to hear the voice of my annoying older brother. He already graduated and is going to a college near where we live. Also his name is Josh and really annoying and plus I don't know why those 7 girls have asked him out in a day. "Hey small sister, has a boy asked you to the dance yet?" Josh asked while he was laughing. "Really funny Joshie cootie!!" I told him in a serious look and voice. "Excuse me, the nickname my girlfriend gave me is Joshie cutie!!" he told me and then he said "At least I had someone that asked me to the dance when I was your age!" "Maximilian!!!! Leave your sister alone" my mom told him. And also his middle name is Maximilian. "Mom saved you or I would have said something that would've made you cry" he whispered. I just ignored him and rolled my eyes. Evelyn honked the horn and I told my mom goodbye and left running to her car.
