chapter 2

when I finished the renewel my body was throbbing with power I havent felt like this in a long time. I went back to the house and put a new protection barrier on it. a few minutes later I got a call from heather she told me to meet up at the mall. when we got there I asked her if she wanted to get some clothes she said no. "you know what we should do "said heather. "what " I asked. "we should meet that new kid he looks hot" she said. I thoght to myself that that was actually a good idea so I can try and read his mind. so we try to find him but we couldnt. I even tryed to use a locate spell without heather seeing to no use. he either must have a hexbag or he has his own spell on now. so hes a warlock I thought with a smile. I decided that I should pay him a visit. but then i thought better of it because maybe hes at full power too what if hes more powerfull then me "well i guess we should play nice then" i said i little bit by accident.

we waited until we got into school but it looked like he was waiting for us. so we sat next to him and said "hi"me and heather said simultaneously he said "hello Anastasia and heather" i tried to mentally ask him for us to make peace since he could probably already tell that i was a good witch but i was stopped by that same brick wall. i even tried to say it to him with my mouth but to no use he just said sorry but i can't. i asked him if he realy wanted to fight tjat we fight somewhere secluded. "sorry sweetheart but i ain't buying you're going to have to fight me whenever i or you start it " he said as if he'd known me for years. i decided since he said i could start the fight i would wait until he went away from people.

when i finally saw my chance to attack i summoned my will and said fuego a small fireball in my hands not wanting to kill him i aimed for his legs. he extinguished it with a simple verse of ventus he extinguished it then i felt him summoning his own will he used fuego but i dodged it

so i summoned more of my will and said terra the earth arround him rumbled and cracked encasing him in a prison of stone i lobbed fireballs at him to no use he extinguished them all he used the spell aqua to erode the stone. "I've had enough of you " i said and i summoned my will and said " i summon the powers of fuego and ventus i  command you to do my bidding do not leave my prayers unfulfilled!! "and with the final word a jet of fire and wind flew from my hand fire eating wind wind fueling fire by the time it reached its target there was nothing left i prayed that his soul find peace and with that i walked home.

i told my mother what happened she asked me what was his name "xavier why would you want to know his name? " i asked "Anastasia -" her voice cracked "that was your brother " and at that moment i realized why i couldnt get into his mind and how he knew my name and how he could extinguish my fire even at my full power. i asked forgiveness of my mother she forgave me and we both prayed that his soul may find peace and rest.

i tripled the power of the protection barrier of my home made a more powerfull hex bag and decided to do the renewel every full moon just in case more of my family tried to show up. honestly i didn't want to kill him but if anyone of my family tries to hurt me my mom or anyone in this town i will have to kill them.when heather called me she told me to go on channel 7 news it was featuring my little stunt the grass was either burned or black in the center was just a big pile of ash they assumed it was arson and that they probably burned something they didn't want anyone to see. they were right on both counts.
