(A/N Notice when Tempest uses a bubble it's supposed to be like that thing Katara from Avatar the last airbender does/ also I dont own Young Justice, DC comics, or anything related, so bye.)
(Tempest's POV)
I've always hated people trying to punch me and this was no exception. Some huge, buff dude had come out of nowhere and smashed my door in. For some odd reason he had a purple bat painted across his face but to each there own I guess. I don't know if that phrase actually works here but I already thought it so whatever. The guy threw a punch at the lip area of my face but I uppercut his jaw before he could get in the hit. The man staggered back which gave me the opprotunity to create a water bubble and throw it at the man. For a bubble though it did alot of damage, the man continued to walk backwards until he hit a wall. I created a second bubble and chucked it at his knee, it hit right on it's target. He fell over holding his knee, I walked closer to him and kicked as hard as I could in his direction, causing him unconciousness.
I then heard a noise behind me and got a bubble ready to shoot. Right before I chucked it though the person spoke up "please don't shoot, i'm on your side". I looked over to find Ed Dorado standing there with his hands up.
"Kid I don't know whats going through your head but you should just stay in your room", I yelled. Although I probobly should not have done that because in the next few seconds two very heavy footsteps started coming our way. I grabbed Ed and ran into the closest room, it was luckily unlocked. There was no personal items in there meaning the room had no owner. I then turned around and saw Ed fiddling around with his fingers nervously". "Did you see anyone else on your way to me".
"Actually," he began "thats the wierdest part, no one is up here but me and you, I checked all the rooms with residents, everyone is gone Aqualad, Supergirl-"
"Aquagirl" I interuppted?
"Yep even Aquagirl".
I felt terrible, first I completly abandon her and now when she needs me most I'm once again nowhere to be found. She's my girlfriend, my Tula and I left her all alone to fight whoever is attacking. It was in this moment that I realized that I have to stop being scared of what she might be like a monster or demon, and instead love what she is, my girlfriend and my love. Oricle then began to talk into my earpiece "hey is anyone still out there", she asked.
I responded almost instantly "yeah me and Ed Dorado are up on the 4th floor".
And then Miss M answered and I felt much more relieved "good, me and an unconcious Supergirl are stuck on the 2nd floor, which is, just so know, where the enemy is".
I felt a little uneasy after that because no one else answered but realized with how rushed everyone must have been it would have been difficult to grab the earpiece.
"Oricle" I then thaught of a question " where are you and how did you get there if you moved locations"?
"I'm in the secret control room, I was doing a rutine check and was on the second floor when the attack happened, I went to check what it was but obviously that wasn't a good idea, anyhow i'm rolling through the halls and-".
"Okay sorry I asked, it's good that your safe and thats all that matters, but the big issue is that me and Eddie over here have to somehow find a way to Miss Martion and Supergirl without getting caught".
"Yeah how are we going to do that" Miss Martion asked?
"I think thats pretty obvious, just do what they do in all the spy movies, ya know use the air vents".
"Good idea, so Miss M lets meet on the third floor using the vents okay". I got no answer. I asked again but still got no answer. Then Oricle tried and got an answer, but not exactly the one we were looking for. It started out as a loud, annoying ringing in my head but eventually turned into Miss Martians voice. I must have yelled or something because next thing I know Miss Martion is apologizing about how she forgot me and Ed have never had a mind link before. "Why do we need one" I asked?
