November 1st. It's not really winter yet, but there's already a blizzard warning, but I guess that's to be expected. I spent the morning unconscious in my bed, like always, since I'm not quite the early bird. But hey, anybody that's currently getting an education probably isn't, since schools are always figuring out ways to pile up more and more homework for their students. But we're just gonna have to stomach it anyway, I guess.
3:24 PM. I looked out the window and all I could see was pure whiteness as far as the eye could see. The forecast said there would be a blizzard, just... not THIS heavy of a blizzard. Still, I have to study for the next test. I was reading through one of my books when something out the window caught my eye. It was something almost buried in the snow, close to disappearing in the paleness of the blizzard. I'm not one to go outside while there's severe weather, but I decided to, anyway, because I was just too curious as to what this mysterious snow object was.
I put on the heaviest, warmest winter clothing I could find and headed out the door, leaving my books open on my desk. The forecast didn't lie about how cold it was, I was practically shivering, despite wearing snow clothes. Trenching over to the object, I started to wonder if I should go back, but I decided I was too far away from my apartment to turn back. As I approached the snow object, it stopped looking like one. In fact, it was a human being! Just laying there in the snow! I could see their abdomen rising up and down, they were still alive, but they surely would freeze to death in below zero weather. I panicked for a moment, but I decided to try and save their life.
I'm not that strong, really, so I just sort of dragged this person's body to my apartment. Luckily, nobody was outside at the time, so nobody thought I just murdered someone. When I got there, I turned on the fireplace, plunked the body in front of it, and got back to studying, but I just couldn't think straight, worrying about this person's safety...
